Can you have a Mobile blog on Verizon like Cingulair?

I would like pictures I take to atomatically show up like you can do with Cingulair. I think it is called a mob. Do any of you guys know what I am talking about? 🙄

Cingular Fined $12.1 Million

The California Public Utilities Commission fined Cingular Wireless $12.1 million after concluding the carrier violated state laws by failing to offer trial periods while imposing early termination fees on customers who sought to end their contracts. Regulators found that Cingular didn't give new subscribers a chance to change their minds during an aggressive expansion that resulted in shoddy service.

Cingular has been a bad little boy...hehehe

When is Verizon going to wise up? Pro's and Con's

When LPN became available I switched over to Verizon. One thing I didn't notices (and now miss dearly) is all of the extras I got while I was with ATTWS. Here are just some of the things Verizon should do.

*Offer more anytime minutes (for same rate plans). They should increase their anytime minutes up 200 or 300 per plan (or at least offer a promotion to get more anytime minutes).

*Incoming text messages should be free, they shouldn't cost 2 cents per message (especially since you have no way to deny text messages, you have to pay for them).

*All of their phones should come with 3 or 4 games on the phone. You shouldn't have to pay monthly for the privilege to play games on phones (especially since you usually have to pay more up...

At what point will wireless competition squeeze out the underdogs

Every year prices go down and consumers get more for their money.. Do you think eventually only the largest of cell providers will survive. What will be the driving force?

Can this be done?

Currently I have service with Alltel but my contract will be ending soon.
Verizon is not offered in my area but the phone I really like is the LG 6000 which is a Verizon phone. Alltel has the LG 5550 which reminds me of the 6000 but I understand that you cannot assign ringtones for callers in your phone book & you cannot transfer pictures from your computer to the 5550. I do not like the outside of the LG 5450 because it is not as nice as the 6000 & 5550.
So my question is this.
Can I sign up for Verizon service in a neighboring town since you can keep your same number these days? That way everyone where I live will not have to dial a long distance number to reach me. I know Verizon has great coverage where I live because my son has Veri...

CINGULAR

I think that cingular waiting to merge when LNP was going on was a bad idea. Customers who lose their price plans or options that they had with each company will lose that loyalty they had and will not have to worry about losing their number when they leave the sinking ship. Frankly, Cingular took on too much water, or should we say dead weight.

-Dialing *228-

When should you dial *228?

You should update your phone once a month or at least once every 3 months. And also when you travel to new destinations. It only takes a minute and makes sure you have the best signal possible when your traveling.

To update your roaming dial *228, and listen to the lady and when she gives you options, you pick option #2 to update your roaming cabability. Option 1 is for when you change your ESN on your account or if you buy a phone at a store and need to activate it for the first time.

We here usually activate the phones for the customer. But on the website is the capability of changing your ESN (11 digit # on back of phone, unless you have and LG phone, then you might have to call into customer ser...

VZW questionable billing practices

Has anyone else had an experience like this, and does this seem legit:

I mis-placed my bill and didn't send my monthly payment until the very day it was due (thinking the check would arrive in a few days). Three days later, VZW called and asked about my payment. I said I had just paid it and they should get it soon. I asked if there might be any issues or service interruptions and she said, "No."

(I checked my bank, and that day the check was cashed and the funds withdrawn from my account.)

The next day my phone was disconnected. I called them up and asked what the deal was. She said my phone was shut off due to lack of payment. I mentioned that they had received AND CASHED my check, but she said it takes them up to 10 days ...

Voice Dial and the Samsung 650

I have the Canadian version of this phone and have tried what the manual says to set up voice dial(menu 8-1-1) and it only worked once. I don't have a 8th menu option, my menu stops at 7 setup. Should I have an 8th menu option or is it hidden and you just have to use the menu 8-1-1 and if this is the case does anyone have any tips for me?

Need NY/NJ rep's help!!! Please!!! Need a new phone, contract is not up yet.

I am only six months in into my two year contract, but I've been with Verizon since they first offered digital service (1997, I think). My wife and I have fairly new (LG4400?) phones, but they are not that good. I am willing to re-sign a two year contract (not a big deal to me, since I am obviously not going anywhere anyway), but I'd like to get new phones. If someone can help, please email me:

Expaned In

One point everyone has failed to mention is that LDC plans will have their IN network coverage area increased to include their HARA. LD charges still apply, that is if you're calling outside of you LARA.

I did read a couple of posts stating that LDC customers will have to change to a new calling plan to take advantage of this; this is true.
