What is the holdup on the TP2 and WinMo 6.5?

Why hasn't VZW kicked the Touch Pro2 with WinMo 6.5 yet?

I want a TP2, but will not uprade until it has 6.5. Heck, by that time, something better may be out.

I am getting tired of waiting, and 6.1 on my XV6800 has too many little quirks to risk an upgrade right now.

Blackbery Storm 2 or Motorola Droid

I have stated in the past that I had the Droid Eris and wasnt too happy about it. Having said that I am returning it and was toying around with either getting the Motorola Droid or the Storm 2. This is my last question for the masses. I know these phones do totally different things but I have actually played with the Storm 2 and The Motorola Droid and wasnt sure if the Storm 2 has any OS upgrades....

Thoughts?

So I Had The Eris But............

I had the Eris and maybe its because the software upgrade for the OS did me in but I just couldnt get into the Eris. Not sure if I'd like the Droid if I didnt like the Eris. I was contemplating the BB Storm 2 instead and do realize they are 2 completely phones. I think my biggest gripe on the Eris was that it was really slow to respond and I would keep getting these Brew emails as text messages. So...With that said would I be better off waiting for something new down the line or go with the Motorola Droid?

Thoughts?

Simple rules to be happy with any service provider

1) Use the trial period to insure you get coverage where you need it.
2) Find a phone that does what you NEED it to do.
3) Pick a plan that fits your needs.
4) Review your bill monthly and pay it on time.
5) Treat your phone like the expensive electronic equipment it is.
6) Expect to only get a discount on a new phone within the guidelines set forth by your provider.

Good News in Rockford IL

Good news for the people in Rockford IL. The ATT store closed in the mall due to lack of sale. Yet there are over 5 Verizons stores that stay in business. The people have spoken ATT does not work in the MIDWEST.

How do I check my options

I have a pretty high bill with Verizon. My oldest son and I both have "smart phones." Youngest son and wife need phone service and texting, but none of the internet type of services. I want to check my services and make sure I'm not getting anything I don't really use. What's the easiest way to do that?

Which phone has best speakerphone? My LG Glance is tinny.

I bought the LG GLANCE because it was one of the few allowable for the old plan that I have.
I like its lightness, but the speakerphone is tinny and not clear at all, and I prefer to use the speakerphone.

I might have to give up my old package and get the newer ones available so that I can get a better phone.

Which Verizon phones have good voice quality and good speakerphone quality?

I do want a phone and video but I do not do text messaging, listen to music or surf the web on my cell.

Which phone do you recommend?

Contract /Prepaid Question

I was told by CS that prepaid service does not use the same towers (or something like that) that contract service uses. Is this true? What's the difference?

HELP!- BB Curve Email Question

Hello,

Recently I've noticed that I am not getting an email notification on my BB Curve until about 10 - 15 minutes after the email was sent to my provider. I will see that my internet provider received the email lets say 7:00 PM but I am not getting the notification on the BB until about 7:10 - 7:15 PM.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? I have to assume that when I send an email from the BB its taking that long to talk to my internet server and send the email too.

Any help is so appreciated, thank you and Happy New Year to all!!

Very Interesting Scenerio

I am really impressed with the new set-up T-Mobile has. In where a person can have the same benefits of post paid customer but w/o the contract. Sure you have to pay full retail price for the phone. But they thought that out as well. By offering the consumer financing for the phone. Plus no interest it is a win win situation. Especially for a person who is on a limited budget but can afford a Blackberry plan but doesnt have 599 to shell out bc of rent and other bills in life. But 23 dollars a month for a certain amount of time could be really easy to swallow. Does anybody know if the other companies are going to follow suit with this awesome compromise? The reason I am posting this here in the Verizon forum is because I am a long tim...
