Question about the warranty process.

I made the huge mistake of getting the ENV Touch as my upgrade phone a few months back. I had to replace it once within the first 30 days because the hinge was loose. Now a couple months later the touch screen started acting weird and is now not working at all.

Anyway, my question...

What are the chances I will be able to get Verizon to send me a completely different phone, since I've been having horrible luck with the ENV touch?

I used to work for ATT's warranty dept and we would usually offer a comparable model after someone had a couple exchanges. I would think since Verizon is an overall better CO, they would do something similar.

Restocking Fee Help

we purchased 2 moto droids....got our first bill and see that our employer discount does not work on smartphone/pda's just blackberry data. The salesman told us that we would get the same discount.

I called the 800 number and the lady stated that we would be charged a restocking fee. Is that true? The reason I ask is we bought the phone on the premise our bill would be the same...we are not returning them just for the sake of returning them and getting a different phone.

help? and thanks

Here Mignon Mignon Mignon.....Where You At Girl?!

Sprint is doubling it's regulatory fees and AT&T mysteriously stopped selling the IPhone in New York City (I've found out they've since resumed sales) and not so much as a peep out of the good 'ole FCC or Mignon Clyburn.

Maybe it's because she's too busy. I've heard that she is currently writing a letter to a local grocery store near her asking them to explain why they increased their price of pork this week! 😳

Can I get a huge WTF?!! πŸ‘Ώ

Question about the iPhone

I don't know if anyone's asked this yet, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows when Verizon will be getting the iPhone?

Thanks.

BB Storm 2 battery problem

Strange my Storm 2 has been fine the last couple of weeks, 3-4 days on a charge. But for the last 2 days it won't last a day, I mean I've never seen a phone drain this fast.
Any ideas?

Why would VZW want the iPhone?

Thousands of people would leave ATT for VZW and the iPhone. Therefore relieving ATT's current congestion, helping ATT. 🀨

Garmin Mobile

So why when I goto this site it says the 7 day trial isn't supported by my device (VZW Storm 2)? πŸ˜•
http://www8.garmin.com/mobile/blackberry/trial.jsp »
And there's also something saying this isn't supported by VZW blackberries.
What gives, has anyone bought this and have it work on their VZW BB?

Android OS and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync questions

I have my own Exchange server and currently sync my XV6800 to get mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks. In my Exchange account on the server, and therefore on any device that properly syncs to it (workstation, laptop, phone), I have my Inbox, and nested under that are individual folders for Clients, Vendors, Family, etc, with each of those having nested folders under them with the names of each client, vendor, etc. When I look at my phone, I see my Inbox and I have the Clients nested folder expanded. I can tell at a glance if I have mail in any folder.

I looked at a Droid today (the VZW store managerΓƒΒ’Γ’β€šΒ¬β„’s phone that was synced to Exchange), and the email app showed all the folders, but NOT nested. It was just one long list of folders sor...

Verizon tends to lose my coverage everytime I go over a bridge. Why is that?

Looking for suggestions!

Happy Holidays, everyone...

I've been out of contract with VZW for almost a year. I received a Samsung Renown as a birthday gift several months ago, and it's OK, but I was wondering what the best phone would be from Verizon's offerings right now that IS NOT a Smartphone. I use my phone for talking...that's it. No text messaging, no downloads, nothing. Just looking for something reliable, like their network.

Many thanks in advance.

Reliability is NOT cheap!

My, aren't we living in a big brother is watching and wants an explanation for everything you're doing environment! 😈

I am in complete agreement raising the etf from $175 to $350 on advanced devices. These phone are not cheap, some retail for $599! Cell sites, are not cheap. Google estimates it cost approximately $1 million for every new cell site & then approximately $10k to $20k a year in maintenance. I don't have any figures for switching stations, but I'm sure they're not cheap either! And lets not forget the employees, they need to make money too! After all, Verizon is in the business to make money (but unlike government taxes, are fees and service charges are optional!) Verizon was getting ripped off by greedy consum...

Hand On w/ Motorola Droid

Wow is all I can say. For the longest time Verizon was known as the stuffed shirts of mobile carriers. I had the opportunity to play with the Motorola Droid and I must say that I am extremely impressed. The ONLY drawback I saw was the physical keyboard. Any chance they'd make another Droid like this phone without the keyboard. Please dont suggest the Eris cause that phone is not in the same category as the Droid

Thank You

restocking fee question

I had a question about the $35 restocking fee.

I renewed my 2 year contract and purchased a phone at promo price...the website says a $35 restocking fee exists if i exchange phone or return and purhcase a new one within 4 days.

does that mean I can return and revert back to my old contract date etc and have no restocking fee if i return my phone and activate my old phone and wait a week or two?

thanks

Phone Advice

Ok well since my daughter now has the Droid from the verizon store I am thinking I should just get the Droid also. I am trying to hold out to see what other new phones may come out over the next few weeks. So since I know there are tons of reps on this site (lol) please tell me what is going to be better about any of the new phones rumored to be coming soon. (compaired to the Droid)

Thanks
