We are going to switch to Verizon in Oct. My hubby gets an employer discount thru his work. The Connect plan is what were looking at. Will his discount come off the $100 base price of that plan? Or does it work differently.

We currently have ATT and they apply the discount on just the base line minus any added features such as text or data.

I'm curious if you can have a Blackberry on Verizon's Connect Plans?

I was looking into getting a family connect plan with an EnV touch and a Blackberry, but have no clue if this is possible? It can't be done from the website.

I am wanting to get a BB and I have read alot of reviews of the Tour having a bad trackball issue and reception issues and battery life issues. I have been through hell and back with my last two years of Verizon phones with a plethora of having to have them exchanged for new ones only to have the same problem.... So is the Curve badly outdated? is the Tour better/upgrade or is is a flop???? Thank you for the help

Can anyone provide any info on a product or device from Verizon called the Network Expander. They say it's liking have a cell tower in your home and great for areas where service is low or something about your home or building is blocking reception.

Sounds great but also costs $249; anyway to get that down a bit?

Verizon admits they have pockets of service "issues" in my area so why do I have to pay them to correct the coverage? If they have this technology, shouldn't they be giving it to me to keep a satisfied customer and makeup for their short comings?

i recently recieved the HTC touch pro as a replacement to my voyager. the phone seems to be ok, and i have set up the quick gps to accept the satellites. But my question is does anyone know a good gps software out there similar to the vz navigator. Need software that speaks, and gives traffic updates.

Does anybody know why there is trouble with every font except VZW and Joy fonts as far as the entire phone number when someone calls. Only half the number shows up. I have it on small setting so I am confused. Never had this problem with the voyager. Thanks.

How is it possible for cell phone companies to state buy and phone "get one free" When it is the furthest thing from the truth. You are made obligated to open up a new account, pay the taxes and sign up for a 2 yr contract. Ext Ext. "FREE" constitutes no obligation buy this phone and you get this back up for no questions asked. I am just curious how they are allowed to use that terminology when its not true.

I decide on the purchase of the TOUR and as soon as I do, the price goes down $50.00! I was contemplating returning mine because SO many people complain that they cannot hear me or that I am "breaking up". Especially on the bluetooth in the car!

If I return the TOUR, what is coming out soon to replace it? Usually that's when the price goes down, isn't it?? When something new is coming out!?

I am looking into upgrading to this phone. I am not too familiar with Windows Mobile phone and would like some info on this. The reviews are all positive albeit there are onyl 4 of them. One of the main reasons of possibly going with this over the Tour is that the Tour's buttons are too small.

Why is it that we can receive multiple texts at once from any carrier, but when we try and send anything over 160 characters outside Verizon network it doesn't work. I know it has something to with the CDMA or whatnot networking, but it is frickin annoying!!! You would think that would be something that could be fixed easily seeing that any other carrier can send over 160 characters to Verizon. This REALLY annoys me!

Does anyone know if there is a new phone coming out that replaces the Casio G-Zone Boulder? It is no longer on the vzw website. I talked with customer svs and they said they could order one but it wouldn't be on the website in the future.

After 5 blackberry tours in under than 30 days and problems with both mine and my wifes after 3 trouble tickets and they say no problems found I am done ! They will not let me exchange the tour for a storm, a curve or nothing! They told me to deal with the crappy service that I was getting! Can anyone confirm that the Moto Adventurer V750 turns on during charging? I've had numerous Motos that could be charged while off, but this model turns on as soon as you plug it in.
