Ok, here's to the losers....

Mr. X of HI calls in, wants to get a copy of the bill sent out to him. He, of course, is the user on te account, with no knowledge of the account holder's SSN. So, I attempt to verify using the billing address plus 2 numbers called often from the phone. The address was the easy part. The 2 numbers were more difficult.

No, I don't want YOUR number, I want two numbers that you call.

*I only have one number, it is...*

No, sir, I want 2 numbers that YOU CALL, so I can verify this account, and who you are.

*I already told you my name...*

Yes, but in order for you to access this account, I need you to verify the information on it. Now, you are the user, right?

Me so bored, too

Customers are easy today. I ain't complainin', but I am kicking my heels while my stomach eats itself. Early lunch, methinks. Skip over to my apartment, eat some cereal and sit on my porch for 3 minutes before I have to go back to work. I am having a team meeting at 9:30, though, and in it we are being served a sweet, sweet full course meal. I mean, it's better than cereal. Isn't it?

Tip for cust's and reps

Hey all! Just got a great tip from my neighbor who got it from her cust. You all know about the pain in the butt charges for premium text message transactions that charge like a 1.99 everytime they text message you? Call this number: 866 784 7712. It's called M-Block and they are the billing company for these guys. call it, put your number in the IVR and you can then be taken of their lists.

Yeah so this customer calls in to get his AWS PDA phone unlocked, I told him "sorry we don' do that."

"Well I am going to T-Mobile then."

Now where is the logic in that? We will not unlock a phone for you so you can use it in another system, so the only other option is to go to another company.

Best part was, he stated that he could get a FREE PDA with the other company. Enjoy your lemon phone dumbass!!!

customers who are "thinking" about upgrading, gd it they are like "well i din't know" well do you go to the grocery store and take 2 days to choose out a 5 cent candy, nooooooooooooo, or do you go into the groery store, go through the checkout and say "this is too much i thought you weren't supposed to ring in that...and that....and that" why do i go through this strenuous torture 😡

Kay, I no longer care anymore. For all you oh so important people who think we should give you the moon and the stars because you have been a cust with us for sooooo many years! Back before cell phones even existed. wow, i'm extremely impressed that you've been with us since the 1800's. Go jump off a cliff. Or perhaps you should start your own cell company and say 'yes! by all means, we'll give you a free phone in return for no contract commitment, PLUS an unlimited calling plan for 19.99 a month where you can call ANYWHERE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE of the wonderful US of A at the low low cost of .2/min' and see where that gets you. No logic, rhyme, or reason to it.

Time for a rant. Subject, that ill-conceived notion of the PAR Report. (Yes, the phrasing of PAR Report is redundant, I know.)

First off, why was it created in the first place? Well, I do not know the exact answer but I can make an educated guess. Parameters of course had to be set so that employees will make enough money for the company to offset their wages that they employees make. The PAR Report was more than likely designed to monitor performance on an agent level to ensure adherence to the parameters set.

Makes sense doesn't it? On the surface it does, until you see the effect it has on the agents and management as well. If the report is not met, management presses the issue to their subordinates and that has the "domino effect" ...

Correct me if I am wrong but...

Shouldn't RM be able to have accounts sent to an OCA if the customer specifically states they are not going to pay their bill?

I had called RM on 2 other accounts and they did it for me, I even saw several other accounts where that happened.

Did this policy change or what?

Tread Softly...(Big Brother is in the House)

We are being made to clean up for the upper higher uppers coming into our call center. OH BOY! Hope they love the happy smile in my voice and the outstanding way I deny they're cust. of any assit. or comfort whatsoever because it's what they trained me to do. I hope one sits down next to me on a phys. damage escalation in which I have to advise the cust. "we don't know what the damage was but you need to go ahead an pay that charge, ok!" And then I hope that cust. is one of our "saucier" custs. and proceeds to cuss me out for forty or fifty minutes and threatens cancellation and contact with News Channel 5, BBB, FCC and their lawyer. That will ice my cake and I'll turn to the upper and smile and say "YES SIR!" "I'm proud to do my job!" :wink...
