Renew Promos a Misteak!

I just had customer who was in Florida, and was having problems with his reception, TDMA of course, we all know the GSM network covers much more of Florida then our TDMA network does. I offered the GSM like I do on every call, but the customer simply roared out laughing at me when I told him he would be trading 1150 anytime mins for 450 rollover mins.
Not that I blame the customer, but Im tried of being laughed at all the time as a result of these renew promos.

quick question..

friend has AT&T services, wrote this to me..do any reps have any advice for her? I work for suncom, so I can't reall help her out..

It's that they are doubling the minutes used on EVERY CALL I MAKE because they seem to think I am calling two people at once. So where I was on the phone for maybe an hour on one occasion, that hour is listed twice, and I am recorded as having used 120 minutes instead of 60. Not a problem...till all the sudden I am allegedly over my alloted minutes and all my calls are being charged - twice - at 45 cents a minute.

thanks..

Ha! Get this!

So, my center is attached to a mall right, and 35 min ago, the fire alarm in both the center and the mall went off. 😳 We evacuated and were now just let back in. What were we evacuated for? A water leak 🤣

Reverse Migration

Who does one call in those situations where a customer is not quite migrated, but kinda stuck in the middle?

For example, I got a customer now who changed his mind halfway through the migration process because he chose to go with the free online phones instead. Well now his number shows online as Previously Migrated and in CSR as Pending Migration flow Request Process. I could send him to a store to buy and activate a phone but he wants his free phone instead. Who do I call? 😲

A question to orange or blue reps

I was wondering if I can stay with my att plan and get a cingular media plan because I know that cingular can't beat the promotion i got with att 39.99 1050 nationwide min, unlimited m2m and unlimited nights with early evenings but then I know att can't beat the media plans and the rollover so is there somthing coming in the future that will enable me to those types of promtions?

The only way for a band to get recognized is by touring and meeting new people

Not by taking your demo to a radio station and letting them toss it into a giant bin with about 1000 other demo's they get a day. 🙂

How much....

How much is the ETF on a family share plan with 2 phones on it? Does it differ from having 2 seperate plans on one account?

Sorry for the easy question, but I'm at work and am blocked from "primus.com" the domain that att seems to have there billing FAQ on. 😕

thanks in advance!

Another report for Consumer Affairs

I just got off a call in which the customer was demanding a SUP before I was even able to verify the account. While the customer was going on about his issue, I noticed that the customer had migrated to Cingular, being an AT&T legacy rep, I did not have access to Cingular systems, cust was mad b/c the last rep would not get him a Cingular rep who could send him out a replacement phone. I informed him that we could not get him a rep that could order the phone for him tonight b/c Cinglar CC has been closed for almost an hour. Cust then went off about going to consumer affairs b/c I was being rude in not getting him a SUP.
Thats when I got irritated. I told the customer that if he wanted to go to consumer affairs about our CSE's business hours...

Attws reps are the best : )

I just recently went to the att/cingular store and they were giving me advice for my defective phone and they gave me the most obvious one call the warranty exchange department which I did once I left and I gave them my information and the rep rapidly took my information on the defects on the phone and then gave me the order # for the new phone which was to be sent in 1-2 days I was so happy. So after she did this she put me on the terms and conditions line so I could agree on them which I did but then it said that they were going to send me a refurbished phone. I soon called customer care and a rep gave me credit for mistakes on my bill and gave me a plan that I couldn't believe it was a att plan that was 1050 nationwide minutes in the plan...

AT&T Go Phone Service?

Do you think Cingular will keep the AT&T Go Phone Service? I have heard that SunCom may be buying these customers through an arrangement with Cingular/ATT?

Just curious, Thanks

Unlocked Phones

I am a TDMA rep, but I just got a call were a customer had just purchased an "Unlocked" AT&T Motorola V600. The customer is currently on the new Cingular network. She said she had spoke with CSE who told her to get the unlock code from Motorola. So the customer called Motorola and they informed her that it was a substity code she was after.
I had to inform the cust that there is really no such thing as an unlocked phone, and even if there was it wouldnt be much use.
Let me explain, I am going to use the Motorla V180 for example. It works with both T-Mobile and Cingular. But T-Mobile is 1900MHz only and Cingular uses both 1900MHz and 800/850MHz. So if there were such a thing as an "Unlocked T-Mobile Motorola V180" phone, then it would not ...

OMG i love playing with peoples minds

well i know the canadians will really enjoy this, and by no means do i mean this as a burn on the americans and the stereotype of idiocy that plagues americans.

I am a legacy blue rep taking only divestiture markey calls (carolinas). i had one call today where the guy sounded as if he was on Rick Mercers show on CBC "talking to americans" where during the middle of the call he asks my location, to which i answer "western Canada" he then asks "hey is Jean Poutine still in charge up there?" to which i reply no. he then asks whos in charge. i answer "The Honourable Timothy Bit" for the next few minutes hes on mute while im laughing my ass off to him beliving a tim bit is in charge of canada

Four Hours Of Training?

Ok when I started with company 2 years ago I got 8 weeks of traning...now we have merged with cingular and they sent us to a four hour traning class and want us to know every policy that cingular has and if we happen to miss up just once they jump all over us and we can get a written warning....come on do they really think that with only four hours of training I will be about to much more then answer the phone "Thank You For Call Cingular Wireless"? I really do like to help my customers out and with the old systems I could do all most anything they needed and if I could not do it I knew someone who could....now I am as lost as an monkey in space...and when ever I call another department that I think can help I am told I have called the worn...

Store Reps = Pissed Off Customers

Does anyone else notice how the store reps seem to add features like Safty Packages for $5.99 and credit them for the first month without telling a customer. It makes me so mad because they get commission on this and then we have to deal with upset customers.

Which is why i always tell customers to go on there own choices on phones because a rep will try and upsell because they work for there money.

Just a Thought.

QA SILENCE QUESTION

What are your policies on silence during a call? I'm at a blue center now that is currently being trained CSE, we hit the floor CSE on Monday. Our policy with blue was any period of silence lasting over 20 seconds is unacceptable (informed or noninformed) and will get you dinged on quality. In CSE training though we were told that informed silence is ok up to 3 minutes uninformed ok only up to 11 seconds. Anyone else care to share their policies? Orange and Blue? I sent an email to the QA Goddess here and she informed me that we would still be sticking with the 20 seconds rule from Blue. Just curious what the other QA rules are out there.
