I was a Cingular customer(2001) before it merged with At&t and I didn't have any trouble with them. The service was great. After the merge I heard that a lot of people were not happy with the service...coverage and customer support. Well, I like a lot of the phones that At&t has especially the BlackJack but what is holding me back is the network issues. My friend has At&t and she said twice she needed to call 911 but call would not go thru! 😳 That's a little scary too me! She lives in Beaumont but I live in Houston...maybe the coverage is much better here since its a much larger city...not sure. Can't you search for a network when one isn't available? I was able to do that when I had TMO.

I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was wondering if anyone knew when the 3G upgrade was going to be done here? I heard August and obviously we are beyond that with no 3G. Thanks for your input all!

Gsm works better for me in the chicago area. Some people have better luck with sprint, verizon or Us Cellular CDMA, I'm glad I went back to At&t (RIP JACK)....

I've been stuck with my LG C1500 phone since March of last year. At first it was fine and all, even though it already seemed outdated and old.

Then it started giving me ****ty reception, dropping calls and such. One time, in the middle of writing a text message, the inside screen blacked out, and the outside screen was just blank. I could still recieve calls, and even make calls if I knew what I was doing. This lasted about 2 days, then the inside screen decided to work. Then the outside.

Hey guys, I understand that you can upgrade your phone on At&t premier without regard to upgrade eligibility. So, I get to my premier page, and i select "shop for phones". It then asks me to input my zip code, it asks whether i want to create a new account of add/upgrade (i select add/upgrade), and it asks for my phone number, and my billing account number. When I enter in all the information and click continue, i get a error notice that says:


"Error: ZIP code is not in the same market as the phone number entered. You may try another zip code or return to Premier home to purchase a new line of service in your selected zip code."

I don't understand this, I am entering in the correct zip code, and the rest of my information is accurate...

this company has finally made me so upset i'll quit. I've had some issues with my own personal line (i'm an ssr) and downloading games, it constantly says operation failed on my sony ericsson w810 thats unlocked( some games will work and some wont, its hit and miss i know). The game never downloaded but i was charged anyways, so i call customer care to delete the $100 in charges on my account for some reason i had mobi tv on my account 3 times! I literally have to get rid of that every month. She credits the account for 2 bill cycles away and they want me to pay those charges then i'll get a credit in basically october...then she notates the account that i received the games on my phone and this was a one time credit courtesy and any future ...
