Hey All - I'm going to be 6 weeks in Europe, and want to replace my old Nokia with something around 200-300 bucks. I'm a AT&T guy from WAY back, and will be using it with them on return. Been reading a LOT and know just enough to be dangerous LOL ! Heres the phones I've liked - any thoughts:

Nokia5300
Nokia6270
SamSung Black Carbon/SGH D900

Sony W580/S500(that AT&T contract ends JUST after I leave .. might get this later once it's got the 2 yr contract discount)

Can you tell I want a slider? Or a candybar...
They just feel more durable and my phones normally last me a cpl years.

Also - whats a good source for buying .. ? I've read a few horror stories about tech support if you don't buy through a carrier. NEWays thanks in adva...

When are they going to release the firmware update to WM6 for the 8525? I see alot of people who already have an unofficial release from AT&T, but cant find it anywhere...

It usually gets to me when a customer wants me to look up something on their bill or wants me to do something to their account, when i ask them for their cell phone number...they are like "well i dont know, i dont call myself" im like, ARE YOU SERIOUS!? thats what i want to say. But mostly its like ok well do you know your account number than? lol

I've had my sim swapped for the 3rd time! They normally forward my phone numbers to the new sim; however, the rep I just went to didn't do that, and I lost many numbers that I can't get back. I'm beyond pissed. 👿 Is this normal?

Any AT&T guys know the release date??

I just got my unlocked/unbranded MOTO RAZRv3i today and have a couple questions... 1. How do I set it up so I can sms and mms? 2. I have a cingular sim card so will the screen say cingular or at&? Thanks for any help.

I have motorola razr V3xx and a option 3.6 data card but all there data is restricted 1.8.

When i bought the data card almost 6 months ago i was told it was just around the corner.

about 3 weeks ago i went there with my little brother to buy some back to school stuff. while there he seen the blue razr, and wanted it. well i tried to use my sales skills to turn him away and tried to get him something i could nab a cost from my company. it didnt work. so i purchased a moto blue razr outright for him.

we'll yesterday morning the main screen decides to crap out on him (there were other razr-ish problems before that too). i thought, no biggie its within 30 days i'll exchange it out. we go back and guess what they are all sold out of blue razrs. they call other wal-fart marts and there's none available at any of the other area ones (just my...

Has anyone started to sell the A717 and A727 yet? We have not received our shipment of them yet and I wanted to see how you thought they are.

I am thinking about purchasing one of these two Smartphones. Can anyone tell me their experiences with these?

I'm leaning toward Nokia b/c I've been a big Nokia fan in the past. The only thing is, I have trouble setting up push email because nobody at AT&T Customer Service (Business Customer Service also) knows anything about these phones and cannot walk me through setting up the phone. They can only support phones that's in their inventory....

I have heard that the Blackberry 8820 with wi-fi was coming out soon. I just saw where the Pearl 2 with wi-fi is supposed to be coming out in September. Does anyone have an exact release date? I heard that it is supposed to be better than the pearl 1..... Also, what colors will it come out in...i like the red pearl 1 thats out now so hopefully the pearl 2 will be available in red too.... thanks 🙂

Ok well my contract expires in September, and with all these newly announced AT&T phones i seriously cant seem to choose one. Im leaning towards a smartphone (maybe the Moto Q9 or BlackBerry 8820), but then i've heard that the LG PRADA has a chance to come to AT&T (is this true?). Anyway what i'm asking is which smartphone would you choose from AT&T that is currently available and/or is coming out in the near future. Btw, i dont care for the BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, or at&t's slider smarthphone. What's your opinion? Thanks 😁

Hello, I returned the Curve and the leather case with Customer Service approval within a few days. (I established a new line when all I wanted was an upgrade. Was technically unable to allow me to transfer SIM card since I was old blue.) Film was still on the display, etc. Sent FedX and confirmed received on June 18. Still no credit back to my charge card. Associate says takes up to 8 weeks, they confirmed with warehouse it was received, but don't know why not credited yet. Also said may not get credit for case, even though was returned in same box it came in. They just record the phone as returned. Been dealing with Premiere Reps put in touch with when want to cancel service. They're empathetic but won't force through a credit. What do I ...

I finally given up on getting fix for the ill Treo 680 and sold it. I am using an old phone for now since I can't upgrade.

Regarding warranties, does at&t honor warranties on phones not purchased brand new from one of its stores or web.

Specifically, I am interested in treo 750 or BB curve and want to buy one of them off of eBay. Would at&t honor their manufacturer's warranties. How does it work?

How have the sales of the iPhone been lately, I know that within the first couple weeks it wasnt exactly what they had expected, im a VZW dealer and have had customers ask about it. I have also heard that there is plenty of inventory sitting on shelves, so what is your experience?
