There are sites with posts dating in May saying that Blackberry should be coming out with a new Pearl (the 8120) sometime in September. Has anyone heard any new news on that? Thanks!

I was just wondering from any at&t if there were any new 3g smart devices coming out in the near distant future . I didn't want to purchase something and it become old school in a short time . I am looking at a Blackberry Pearl, but do not want to do a contract with at&t yet. I know I would be unable to use several of the phone's features, but could I use my GoPhone SIM in it?

I'm just wondering why we have no phonnes that have a full keypad like the Envy or Ocean. I know AT&T just got on the unlimited texting bandwagon, but there are customers who would eat up a phone with a full keyboard thats not a Blackberry, Treo, or Window's mobile device. Any info?

i have a old cingular phone that i currently use and will still use until july 2008 and since the new merger with at&t it still says cingular on the background, alot of other people i know now says at&t. i was just wondering if you have to do anything to change the background to at&t or do i have to wait till i upgrade next year.

I have been looking to buy a new phone with AT&T and I just cannot decide between these three phones (A727, A717, and the SYNC). I love the form factor on the A727, but after reading cnet's review (http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/samsung- sgh-a727-at/4505-6454_7-32441328.html?tag=sub "The SGH-A727 had uneven call quality and flat, slippery controls."), I have become hesitant to buy it.

Can someone comment on the camera quality and the call quality of these 3 phones? How much of a difference is there between a 1.3MP camera phone and a 2.0MP camera phone? I don't plan on printing out pictures from my camera very often, but it would be nice to know that I could print out a decent photo if I wanted to.

I have seen inconsistent information regarding the screen on the Samsung SGH-A727. Samsung's own website report it as 65K color screen, but many other websites (including AT&T) say that it has a 262K color screen? So which is it ?

I'm usually really good with phones but Im new to wondows mobile interface.

Anyway my question is On the home screen is there a way to just have a background insted of having all the menu options

Eg. calendar, 411 directory service, appointments ect ect.... She just wants a background.
I know on the blackjack you can just have a plain background but is it possible on the treo 750??
