Ditching "Can You Hear Me Now"

Now that I am finally ditching Vzw, does anyone know if there are new PDA's coming down the pipes for Cingular?
How about Sony Ericsson P990i, any news about an US version with 850?

consumer reports, proven flawed

Today consumer reports said that mcdonalds coffee is better than starbucks. 🤣 This just proves that these studies ripping cingular mean nothing. Now we just need JD power to say that totinos pizza beats pizza hut and everyone will realize not pay attention to these studies and decide for themselves and check real facts.

Question for Cingular Reps

Cingular let me out of my contracts over a year ago since they reduced the quality of their coverage in my area. Now the coverage is back to normal so I tried to port back my two numbers, but the Cingular website telling me that they’re illegible for porting.

Does anyone know why? I’d rather do the porting on the website to take advantage of web deals.

Thanks,

at&t defeats Verizon Wireless 4Q2006

The trolls will have many points (some of which valid) to argue. But the numbers are in, and they don't lie.

2.4 million to 2.3 million.

Including all elements, be it pre-paid for Cingular as a strength and Verizon's historic churn rates, the final number says Cingular ADDED MORE CUSTOMERS THEN VERIZON OVER A 3 MONTH PERIOD

....raising it higher.

Questions..

Questions for you Verizon fanboys over here on our forum.....first, are you REALLY wanting to be a Cingular customer and you are over here trying to learn as much as you can?? Secondly, with my 2mp AF camera, I like to share my pics with my friends. So I may bluetooth them over from time to time, or I may bluetooth them over to my pc instead of whipping out the cable. Bluetoothing them instead of using the cable is just a quick and simple process. If I were to choose Verizon, I wouldnt have a problem doing that with any of your bluetooth camera phones, right?? I wouldnt run into any problems would I?

Oh yea, my phone has a 4GB memory card in it to hold my music, converted DVD's, pictures and whatnot. I can get a phone just like this with ...

Need a new phone for old att service

I am one of the ATT charter customers - unlimited minuts, text, etc. for $99. I need a new quad band smartphone (I travel to Europe a lot), and am looking for reliable sources for one. Of course, Cingular tells me that I must give up my old plan - is that true?

If I get a new phone with high speed data access, will I be able to use this feature under the ATT plan?

Any help/pointers are appreciated.

Insurance availability on new phones (like the KRZR)

I understand Cingular is not offering insurance on the KRZR. Would it be typical for them to eventually start offering insurance on this phone...after it has been out a while?

JD Power Award, Customer Care 2007 (Vol. 1)

T-Mobile Ranks Highest in Wireless Customer Care Performance for a Fifth Consecutive Time

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif: 25 January 2007 — Customer service issues that are handled by a computer automated response system (ARS) on the telephone generate significantly lower customer care ratings when compared with issues handled by a live representative, according to the J.D. Nokia 6102 help

Yeah, the 6102 forum has been dead for months...and I know this phone has been discontinued by Cingular...and I'm not eligible for an upgrade until June. Warranty has expired, but I do have insurance on the phone.

Anyway, here's my problem. It just started recently. The other day I was trying to make a call, opened the flip and the screen blanked out white, then came back and had a message on it that said I had an "Invalid SIM". Then it flashed and said to "Insert SIM". then it flashed again and turned itself off and back on (I didn't touch it) and when it came back on it was back to normal.
Then yesterday, I go to make a call and while the call was trying to connect, the screen flashed (whited out) and disconnected. After I fini...

Upgrading from Cingular Blue to at&t

So I know right now when a (former) AT&T Wireless customer wants to upgrade their phone it goes something like this:

R: "We have to put you on a new plan and change your SIM card also"
C: "Why?"
R: "Because the new phone isn't compatible with your AT&T Wireless SIM card and a Cingular SIM card isn't compatible with your AT&T Wireless rateplan"

which of course just causes confusion and makes the customer mad. but now will it go like this?:

R: "We have to put you on a new plan and change your SIM card also"
C: "Why?"
R: "Because the new phone isn't compatible with your AT&T Wireless SIM card and a Wireless at&t SIM card isn't compatible with your AT&T Wireless rateplan"

I don't want to be there for one of these conversations......
