Here's an idea everybody, instead of arguing on this forum with hardcore Cingy employees about the lawyerly terms in the TOS relating to cancelation due to rate increases why not just exercise your right to arbitration? Cingy's new policy says this will be done at Cingular's expense and the consumer doesn't have to pay unless it was a frivolus claim. This would in no way be frivolus since the TOS says you cancel if the cost of any feature you are subscribed to has a rate increse. The point of arbitration would be what constitutes a "subscription". I'd say if the pay per use feature is on your account you are subscribed but who knows except the lawyers. okay with all these mp3 devices coming out it seems its NOT customary to send the data cable and software with the phones anymore. so with so many people asking for data cables we check our accessory vendors site (tessco) which is a really great and low cost company to buy from until you reach data cables for cingular phones. example the sync's music data kit will cost me $37 to buy 😳 and thats ony cable and software not headsets 😲 . they suggest you sell it at $80. meanwhile all the corp stores sell the music essentials kit with headset, cable, and software for $40.

so my question is does anyone know any good accessory vendors that have these good prices on data accessories. feel free to Private Message me if you must.

A couple of days ago, someone said that this was the week. Any good cingy people know any more? Also, I have been with Cingular for over 10 years and customer service has always done a good job. I don't understand why there are so many Cingular bashers out there.

Hi all. I'm new to the forum. I'm currently using SE 520a and hate it. My biggest complaint is the call quality. During every conversation, the voice drops out of the call for 1-3 secs every 2-6 mins. I'm always asking people to repeat what they just said. I don't lose connection though. I still have 1.5 years left on my contract. ☹️ I'm hoping a new phone would help decrease or eliminate this problem. I'd prefer a slider or bar, but I'm open to clamshell. I just want a phone that will provide with clear calls. Decent camera would be nice. I live in the Twin Cities so it's not like I live out in a rural area with poor signal. I got a Pearl last week.

I gave it to a customer to play with, he had it for about five minutes. He ended up buying his own.

After he left, I went to look at my messages, and the only messages that appeared were my e-mails.

I doubt this guy had the knowledge to go into my SMS inbox, highlight all of my messages, and delete them.

So honestly, I feel it's a software issue with the phone.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

And if so, or if not, does anyone know any settings I can change that can possibly correct it?

I've checked pretty much every setting that seems to make sense and nothing is bringing them back.

i have a 700 series BMW and just purchased the sync, i can sync the phone to the car with no problem. However i have replaced the samsung sync in place of the Razr. The Razr when hooked up to the car would show information on the screen such as contacts call list.... Nothing shows on the screen with the Sync Does anyone have any clue why!!!l I need major help with this issue.

We're having issues on one of our computers here, only with POS.

When we view an account, everything shows up correctly. But if we go to view a different account, the name from the new customer shows up under Wireless Name, but all of the billing/contract information shows the previous customer.

This goes the same for changing features, plans, etc.

I've tried resetting/deleting the cookies, resetting the IE settings, all to no avail.

If anyone has had any similar problems please let me know what you did to resolve it.

Ok so word is I can't put a sidekick 2 on cingulars network, or well use it to it's fulliest... So the question is this. First is this true? Secondly if it is, is there anyway to change it so it works... I'm really in the whole wanting the sidekick but not wanting the terrible tmobile... I dont want to start trouble from cingular to tmobile, i know people like it but I had it and hated it so yeah...
