I was curious to see if there was anyway you can actually install the Kodiak software for Push-To-Talk on to an unlocked phone with Push-To-Talk capabilities and use it for Cingular. Probably a no, but just seeing if maybe it were possible.. Thank you for you time.. Tom

I'm an agent and tried to order some 6102's about 2 weeks ago and was told they are discontinued. Now I see PhoneScoop has the 6102i as a launched phone. There is also a rebate right now the the 6102 that started the 15th. Why would they make a rebate for a phone that doesnt exist any more? If the 6102i is available whats the SKU?

..to integrate a market? My area has been showing "under integration" in the MTi map tool for more than 3 months. 😕 I can't wait until is DONE! I really haven't experienced any problems... I have noticed sometimes -late at night- I don't have EDGE nor GPRS. (this happens after 1am sometimes)

Today I decided to leave T-mobile after 4 years of being a loyal and overall satisfied customer. Here is why...perhaps a lesson to be learned for what used to be a good company when dealing with customers.

(Disclaimer: I am just a consumer who reads the site ocassionally for cell phone reviews, but I know people who work for the phone companies read this website and so do other consumers, so that's why I am writing this).

Here is my story:

- I am currently under no contract obligation with T-mobile. I last upgraded my phone 16 months ago. I want a new nice phone. I am eligible for all the discounts that new customers are.

I work at RadioShack and pride myself on being very knowledgeable about wireless. I found that I don't have an answer to this question and would like to get one.
If your phone gets wet and corrosion damage does the Sim Card need to also be replaced? I would think so, but I would like to confirm that.

It must be getting close, Cingular now has the 6102i listed on it web site. The picture and specs are of the 6102 but it says 6102i. Must mean its getting close.

Anyone have some news on the upcoming Cingular phones, like the LG CG225, the Nokia 6126, Motorola v235, and Samsung's d807 as well as the two previously announced Pantech models (I forget the model numbers), and any others we might be seeing anytime soon.

I have a nokia 6010 prepaid phone that I purchased for my office. We have a few people who do not have their own cell phones.

My Question is will a Prepaid gophone work in Mexico and Canada. I have been told by one person it would and another it does not.

Can someone confirm this for me.

I bought my S710a from Cingular for full retail price minus my company's 30% discount; am I still qualified to get my phone unlocked, even though I received a discount? I've been with Cingular for over a year without any late payments and I still have my receipt.

Anything special I need to do? Just call and request to get my phone unlocked?

I am split between two different worlds. I love small clamshells that get the job done, but I love all the features and productivity of smartphones.

I am trying to choose between buying the new Samsung D407 when it is released, or the Palm Treo 650.

Can I get some feedback from all of you out there on what I should do.

I do about 75 emails a day, but make over 100 calls a day. I'm on the move all the time. Most the people around me are picking up PTT phones, but I still have a lot of people picking up smart phones, what do I do? ☹️ 😢 😕

1. "Thats how they get you!:

- Who is getting you exactly? It is not like you are on a hidden camera show and the second you sign the contract a crew of people come out of the woodworks saying "Ohhh They got you good!!! To get a discount on a phone you have to sign a contract!!! WITH THE WHOLE WORLD WATCHING!!!"

2. "I pay $200 to Cingular every month"

- Well Mr/Ms Customer, its not like thats a donation. You are getting wireless service in return. Its the exchange or money for services, in a free market, its called capitalism, WELCOME TO AMERICA!
