I have verizon and the coverage is ok. Does ne body know how the cingular coverage around the albany-scenctedy, new york area is? and I-88?

I guess the numbers speak for themselves this quarter...

Everyone said Verizon would blow Cingular away with gross adds, but the numbers were about the same.

Cingular and Verizon both reported 1.7 million gross adds...

Cingular's churn was 1.9%
Verizon's churn was 1.18%

They have lower churn, but gross adds were even this quarter... opinions?

I was told this phone could play mp3s as ringtones and mine will not but my friends will. his is about 1 yr old and I just got mine so is there a fix for this?

I recently got my SLVR (month ago) and i noticed that the keypad and screen are VERY easily soiled and saw many little tiny scratches on the keypad. Does anyone else have this problem. I can really only see it in direct sunlight or in bright light so it's not too big of a deal. Thanks

My Dad (a non-techie) is travelling to Germany on Monday. He has a Nokia 6800 dual-band phone (850, 1900 Mhz). Can someone please let me know if his phone will work on another carrier in Germany, and what kind of service upgrade he would need to do to his account? He still has an old AT&T calling plan, which he wants to keep because it is cheap.

WTF is the deal with this? Seriously, how can a company give you 30 "risk free" days to try out the phone and service, but only 3 days to cancel, and not pay the activation fees? What is the deal with this?

Everyone go to JDPower.com right now. New rankings are out for call quality. T-mobile is the best in 3 regions, and Verizon leads in others or is a close second. Cingular on the other hand is dead last in almost every region behind T-mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Quest and even Nextel!

I work for a Cingular agent (the largest agent in my market). Last week our boss held a meeting and informed all 60 of us that he is giving us our choice of a data phone. He is wanting us to learn how to use Cingular's data program so we are more familiar with it when that customer comes along.

I have played with the BB 7100g and the 8700, the Cingular 2125 and the 8125, the Treo 650, and the Nokia 6682 to see which one I wanted to go with. After much research and frustration involved, I think I've decided to go with the Cingular 8125.

a nokia rep was in a few days aso to train us on the 9300 🙄 as if i need it 😛

as training ended he slid us a few coming soon to cingular's.......

one being the nokia 6126. i drooled over it on the slide then BOOM he whipped what he said was a beta version with nokia oem software.

he didn't give an exact date of when it will be dropping but he said soon. it came to my turn to toy with this device and i almost tried to walk out the door with it. the screen is so clear that i blinked every thime an icon was highlighted when moving the cursor around. it featured a standard nokia menu we all are used to but super beefed up. tones were loud and the phones size was very palmable ...

OK so I'm sitting at my computer or w/e and I get a call and it sounds like Morse code is coming though my speakers...this happens when ever any of my friends with either Cingular..or Sprint I THINK might be T-Mobile are near any Speakers or anything...just wondering if anyone knew what caused this..im not saying its a bad thing..it's just weird...
