Wikipedia says that Motorola announced it would be released by cingular on the 27th. Anyone can confirm this? I really need a phone this week and it would be cool if it came out on the 27th.

i have an old SIM card from an overseas carrier and i would like to view the contacts saved on it. i *do not* need to make calls or anything like that. i was thinking i could insert that sim into one of the many extra cingy phones i have lying around. do i need to unlock the phone first?

also, what websites are reliable for unlocking gsm phones, and what is a normal price? if anyone has had particulary good experience with a site pls let me know.

Does anyone know if there would be a way to use cingulars data connect, but be able to plud it into a router? As soon as UMTS is available here in the sacramento market, I will definitely consider dropping my ATT/SBC DSL. I mean yeah they say Ill give it to you for 14.99/mo but you have to have to have home phone service and long distance through them to get it that cheap. Cost wise there wouldnt really be that big of a difference, but Im still considering it because I would have truly wireless freedom with my laptop! So back ot my original question. I would like to use UMTS as my primary connection for my 3 other computers but am not quite sure how to share the connection amongst them.

Has anyone heard when or if Cingular is going to be caring the lasest version of the Razr? My contract with ATT is up on April 24th and I was just wondering if I should go month to month until it is released

i'm on my forth razr, are all the warranty exchange phones refurbished or are some new phones?

I read hints Cingular might get it maybe late 06 early 07 but also read that the network isn't compatible. I don't know anything about how it works with different phones and networks but the Moto Q is inviting. Obviously don't want to go to Vzn but would love to get my hands on this smartphone. Any inside info??

Does anyone have a time frame of when Cingular will change its name to ATT (Wireless?) since ATT announced plans to purchase Bellsouth?

Since ATT is buying BellSouth, that would virtually assure ATT of using the ATT name instead of Cingular. Just wanted to know when they are thinking about doing that??
