Just need a little help if you can. I have an LG AT&T phone, but I am going to get Cingular service. Can this phone be used with a Cingular SIM card? I put one in and it said service restricted or something like that. Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

Please do not get me wrong, I understand that some carriers get better service than others in specific areas. But why is it everyone of you on this Cingular forum state that it must be the phone, when someone makes a post that they get bad service. I've been in the wireless industry for long enough to know that, that's a bunch of bullshhh. Don't hate on this. I just felt I had to say somthing

I have a cingular phone, and it works well, no actually it doesn't. It drops calls to my voice mail when I am sitting in my house with full bars, and every time I call my parents who also have cingular (Every time, I am NOT kidding) one of our lovely phones drops a call. I like cingular because they have roll over, and the SIM card makes changing phones, and numbers easy but... They need to update there technology or something, because this is ridiculous

So im moving to san fran in a couple of weeks and was curious. Please be honest and helpful.
Whats the best carrier, Cingular, Tmobile or Sprint.

Yes, I said V3i. This handset has appeared on our April agent handset pricing (and no, I won't tell you how much at this time since it hasn't been officially released).

Could mean we will see it very soon, could mean nothing.

Also, first price drop on the RAZR V3 since May 2005.

Not too long ago, there was a media bundle on Cingular's website called Media Max, which included unlimited Media Net, 2500 texts and unlimited MMS. Then it disappeared. Does anyone know the status of this package, and if it exists currently or will exist in the future?? Thanks

I am looking for some answers and advice and am hopeful that I will get some answers.

I have a Nokia 6010, that is new and came from Cingular. It was sent to me because I was thinking about getting a plan with them, but decided to stay with what I have for now.

I charged the phone up, and inserted the SIM card which was on a card and needed to be punched out to insert.

My dilemas are centered around wanting to sell the phone on ebay, and providing correct and accurate info. I have spent too much time searching for answers and still do not feel confident in my findings/ interpretaion.

Is cingular ever going to Carey the v 635? If not what will they replace the v557 with. The v557 has already been discontinued by T-Mobile.

I just got the Blk Razr and wondered what kind of case fits it best? I wanted a belt clip so I went with a holster, just the plastic clip. Though it's difficult to take the phone out and you can't charge it with the phone on the clip either.

Good morning. Cingular authorized Dealer in NJ. I have been selling the new TREO 650 like crazy. This is the nicest phone I have seen in ages. Here is my question, I have gotten many different answers. According to literature Media Net plans are for web browsing on an phone, such as $19.99 for 8 meg and $24.99 unlimited. Not referring to the Bundles with messages, just the data buckets. For a device such as the TREO we have been told to sell the PDA data plan $29.99 plan for 5 megs and the $39.99 unlimited. (which I was told just went to $49.99). I realize there is greater data usage on a PDA.
But why such a high entry point? I have been getting the answer that they are configured differently, media net wont let you get to ...

I just bought a Treo 650 and I need to know if I will need a new data package to take advantage of its features. I currently have a Nokia 6620 with the MediaNet package (5mb, 1000 txt, unl MMS). Would this be ok to use with the treo? From what I understand this package will work but I will only be able to browse WAP website and not full HTML. And if I get a data package I woulld be able to surf full html on the treo. Is this true? I am NOT going to be linking it to a laptop for internet connection. All I am going to use it for is text, internet browsing, and email. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks guys.
