Does anyone know if Cingular is going to offer unlimited text messaging soon? If anyone know that would be great.

I have heard that cingular is changing back to AT&T not sure why they would do this if they are, they spend so much money changing AT&T to Cingular.

The general assumption when cell phone customers sign up for a National Freedom plan is that the phone can be used nationwide.

However, Cingular customers around the state received letters on March 11 informing them their national service was being terminated.

According to the letter, many cell phone users were making more than 50 percent of their calls on other carriers’ networks.

Local Cingular users soon learned this included calls made in or around Mount Pleasant because the nearest Cingular tower is located in Midland.

the other day i was talking to a salesman about the phone and the problems with it like the white screen blanking out and he said that sony ericsson fixed that problem so it will function right and won`t be a problem. i want to know if the problem is fixed

The lineup scheduled for the second quarter is hot for Cingular. I can only be general due to being an employee. I can only say that Nokia is determined to win back the US consumer starting with Cingular's business customer's. I can only drop hints and Motorola is looking to make u forget embarrassing sales of the E1. Look for Cingular to make sure that they are the leader in handsets. The 3g lineup will be greatly improved.

Because of my new need for international accessibility and data requirements (I'm coming out of retirement... I can only play so much golf...) has Cingular fixed their Customer Service issues?

I live in Scottsdale, AZ but will be traveling back and forth to Philly and London probably 2-3 times a month to manage some properties I own.

Honestly, are they fixing their CS issues or is it still a crap shoot?

I know that phones will have problems and I'm glad that cingular has and xbm program , But who works in that department mutants? I have to do several exchanges as i switch phones often . I have yet to have one exchange go smoothly . Its always something my most recent exchange they sent me the wrong phone and on top of that its beat all to hell .......

i currently live in a small town in wyoming. we only have two carriers here, alltel (formerly cellular one/western wireless) and verizon. i am satisfied with my reception and coverage, but not with all the crippling that verizon does to their phones and frankly i'm not a fan of alltel, my question is, does anyone know when cingular or any of the other providers are going to provide service in wyoming? i think they have roaming coverage here, but i actually want to buy the service and use it here. anyone know anything?

I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else.

I called another Cingular subscriber today who uses an answertone. When she answered the phone I heard her say "hello" and then the answertone started playing again. When it was playing I couldn't hear her until it paused when the song started over.

Weirder still, she could her it too and could not hear me at all. It didn't stop and I hung up after the song repeated itself 3 or 4 times.

I am a new Cingular customer. I finally switched from Verizon about a month ago because I really wanted a cool phone and Verizon just doesn't have them.

I deceided on the Nokia 6682 and so far everything has been great!!!
I am going to Australia in October later this year and I have a few questions.
1. Will my phone work?
2. Can I sign up for 2 weeks of international service?
3. If the phone doesn't work can I rent another phone for the 2 weeks?

Does anyone know why this plan has disappeared from the system, it was not suppose to expire until 4/1?

Its true Cingy is having fewer dropped calls but im having a horrible time hearing people while im on a call. Voices are gargled and im fed up and it seems whatever phone I use this happens so im taking suggestions what should do bfore i pay the etf.


Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have verizon wireless cell service, I like the service. But I think that they have a crappy selection of cell phones, and I wanted a change. I want 2 know If cingular has great cell coverage like verizon. Cause cingular has all the cool phones. And I wanted 2 know if they can back that up with great coverage?
