Ok, here we are; April 4th and there have not been 'any' markets rolling out 3G. That is NONE so far this year. What is going on?

Is it true that Cingular offers student rates online?

Also, has anyone taken advantage of this offer? Please advise.

I have been a COR for nearly 2 years and I will be the first one to tell you, Cingular's policies arent always the most customer friendly. But I have some ways that you as the customer can make your customer service experience with cingular (or any other retailer for that matter) more efficient.

- Don't try to handle customer service issues in the store, call customer serivce, thats what its there for. Honestly I have to call customer service everyday for people and I never have to wait on hold for more than 5 minutes and I call the same number you do.

- When you get a rep on the phone, or in the store. GET TO THE POINT! We dont need to know your life story, we just need to know whats going on.

- Don't make a mountain out of a m...

Can anyone tell me why the Treo 700 and soon the Moto Q are coming to Verizon first?

I'm a Cingular customer, btw.

Ok, gotta question..If I were to get the 8125, which has Wi-Fi built into it, can I tap into my wireless router at home, or any other WLAN connection? The reason I ask this is because Cingular has a Wi-Fi plan on their website, so would I have to pay that in order to have Wi-Fi capabilities?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Currnetly thinking of switching over to Cingular since they are now really AT&T once again after being with Verizon for 6 years. VZW just doesn't have the coolest phones and new gadets...but...before I do...

How's the service with Cingular? Reception? Customer Service? Features? Problem resolution? Policies?

When the heck will Cingular have Unlimited Texting. It's stupid not to have it, expecially with the new LG QWERTY phone for Instant Messaging. What are they trying to do?? Just make money off of people by going over their 2,500 limit of IM messages or text messages? What the heck is wrong with cingular? HURRY UP AND GET UNLIMITED TEXTING ALREADY HOW LONG DOES it take 4 you guys to comprehend that?!?!? All the other major carriers have unlmited texting. And it's cheap to. With VZW it's $5 IN texting. But idk about IM on Verizon. And sprint with power vision you can text all you want plus IM all you want for wut is it $25(power vision) and $10(vision). and tmobile you can get well GPRSIM for wut is it $20.00 plus web access not that bad...but ...

i need to use my wireless phone as a modem for my laptop while i'm travelling. i was looking to use the new LG CU320 because it has the UMTS which would be great while i'm on the road, plus the megapixel camera and bluetooth for when i need it to make calls. i don't want to get a wireless data card since i won't be using the internet enough to need one. any suggestions or help is appreciated. thanks!

I just got this phone and to me a new battery should last a couple of days without having to re charge. To me it seems that I have to charge it too frequently. When I first got the phone cingular sent me a paper saying to charge the battery for 8 hours before using it for the first time. I only charged it until the battery said it was full. Does anyone know what is the correct way to charge a li-polymer battery. Can I get a new battery without have to get a refurbished phone. Any help is appreciated

My contract is about up on Verizon and I am looking around to see what other providers are offering. I am looking to get either a blackberry or a Treo, and I want to know what are the pros and cons between Sprint and Cingular. Also which carrier is better when it comes to their data package. Or should I stay put with Verizon? 😁

I am having problems with my RAZR V3's internet I can get onto media net home but when I try to type in a URL address by hand it wont let me.. it says page cant be displayed.. I called customer care they dont know what to do and I even went into a Cingular store they dont know what to do! Anyone ever heard of this happeneing?? I tried other phones on their display and they all can go on the URL address..

Is anyone else having network issues in their market. Here in Oklahoma we are having horrbile issues right now. The phone has been ringing off the hook and customers have been coming in all day. Calls are getting misdirected, some may not complete, others your just cant hear at all. It's the worst network problem I've encountered in my 4 1/2 years in the business.

Is Cingular getting either one of these? I have been wanting it and I am wondering what is going on. I have the 6230 and it is the worst Nokia that I have had ever!! Any help would be appreciated thanks!

OK let me clear a couple things up for contract ext
1. the date has been pushed back to 4/17/06
2. All plans after that date will be considered promo plans so if its 6 months and 1 day into the contract they will have to renew to a new 2 year
3. This does not effect handset discounts the same rules will apply if its been 21 months since your last discount you can still get our phone and start your contract over .
4. This falls under the customer rules so its going to be a judgment call

I just bought an unlocked vodaphone branded V3x on ebay. Im new to the 3G scene, so will all of the features work with Cingular??? And does anyone know how the reception is on Cingular networks with this phone?
