Am narrowing down my phone choices to Razor 3 or Moto 551. Both I'm told have same software and batteries. Tech people please explain why some are 6hrs talk time and some are 3 or 4 with the roughly the same AMH. And I'm sure somebody will say none of the phones get 6 hrs talk time.

HSPA evolution is being specified in 3GPP Release 7 where MIMO is one of the cornerstones. Ericsson expects MIMO to be deployed in commercial networks in the 2008 timeframe.

I'm an agent and I have a customer that is wanting to use their cell phone to be able to send faxes. Does anyone know of any kind of adapter to be able to connect a cell phone to a fax machine so he can do this and drop his land line? Thanks for any help.

Last time I called Customer service to inquire about unlocking my phone, they said that I would have to wait 90 days from the time I activated service. Are there any other clarifications that I should know before I call to request to unlock my phone. Have there been any modifications to the policy? Can somebody reply to this message with the full policy.

When the new rebate form comes out, which should be after April 8th, that's when the current one expires, does anyone know what new phones may show up on the new rebate form?

I live in Central, MI and I have been noticing that when I go home sometimes I will have GPRS data with full signal and other times I will go home and have Edge data and almost no signal at all. I have a W600 and it has been doing this ever since I got it about 4 months ago. The frequency of the occurrence is quite sporadic, sometimes happening four out of seven days in the week and other times I could go for two weeks without it happening. Any suggestions?

Is cingular planning on carrying the Pebble, and if so when? I kind figure out whether to just buy one off of Ebay, or wait until we actually carry them so i can get a discount off it...... ☹️

As of Thursday my W600 began to display the network as CINGULAR. I don't remember if I did a power cycle before I noticed the change. Before that it read Cingular.
I am in the Boston market.
Thinking that it might have to do with the network integration (gold network), I did a network search using a T637 with a blue chip. I still found two cingular networks and t-mobile.

Can somebody explain?

Anyone out there have cingular there? I am still on the blue side but I might migrate soon if the service is good there. Moving in a few months. Any response would be appreciated. My att contract ends this month. Should I go to a store or order online?

Just wondering if anyone else has magically had a change in their plans. As of April first I no longer had a text messeging plan. I didn't change it, somehow how it changed. Anyone heard of this happening? I have since changed it back, just really odd.

A friend is giving me his old Razr from Cingular. The account was in his name. His company bought him a newer model Razr still w/ Cingular but they’re paying the bill. He put the SIM card from the old phone in his new one. So I’ll be getting an older Razr originally from Cingular with no SIM card. I’m now with T-Mobile with a $19.99 rate plan but thinking of going w/ TracFone, which would be even cheaper. If I leave T-Mobile I’ll lose that rate forever. I’m disabled and rarely go out so this phone is only for emergencies. I read the Cingular rules about unlocking (SIM subsidy?) on here but I’m wondering if my situation is applicable. Can my friend call Cingular and get them to unlock the old phone explaining the situation so I can put a new ...

Ok, I have 2 lines on my account and my fiancee's line is up for an upgrade. Her birthday is coming this month so I'm going to buy her a new phone, I'm just not sure what to pick.

She likes having the camera and she does carry an MP3 player in her purse (though it isn't used all that often).

Cingular has a new policy reguarding price plan changes. As it is right now, you can change your price plan without having to renew your contract if you are less than 13 months into a 2yr contract, or less than 7 months into a 1 yr. Effective April 2nd any one that is more than 6 months into their contract MUST renew when going to a price plan of equal or lesser price. Meaning if you have a price plan for $99.99 and wish to change to say the $59.99 price plan, you will be forced to sign a new contract. You have one more day to make any changes....

I have heard it is possible to have 2 sim cards for one phone number, is that true?
If so where do I get the second one?

I am wanting to have 2 phones with the same number on them, Like a PDA phone for work and a small carry around phone for weekends, but I do not want to constantly swap the sim card from one phone to the next.

I will not be using both phones at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Raising the bar with useless features does not seem very prudent.

When Cingular changes to at&t will they offer better plans like the old AT&T did, and will the people have to renew their existing contracts, and will the name change to at&t wireless?

Effective April 9, 2006, the activation fee for the secondary lines is suppose to be changing to $26 from $18 for our market in South Texas area.
