Oh, that lovely Nokia rep.
Oh, how much I love her.
She showed me the 6282!
It is so nice, using a camera phone in landscape mode is rather enticing.
The screen is so sharp, crystal clear.
I can not wait until it's released!
Cingular's Service is terrible
While in the states I decided to use it more often since I had so many minutes going to waste.
Let me tell you. Cingular's service is absolutely horendous. I cannot even believe the amount of dropped calls. I mean I go from having a crystal clear conversations with 5 bars to absolutely nothing and a dropped call.
Being honest I cannot have one decent conversation for more than 15 minutes without a dropped call. I live in the Boston area as well which makes me believe if Cingular's service is this bad in a major city I can only imagine how bad it is in small cities and towns.
Luckily I still have my verizon phone which I now use ...

CWA Calls Proposed AT&T-Bell South Merger Critical Opportunity for U.S. and Telecom Sector
For Release 11 a.m., March 5, 2006
Following is a statement by Communications Workers of America President Larry Cohen on the announcement today that AT&T will acquire Bell South.
Washington, D.C. â Today's announcement that AT&T will acquire Bell South has enormous implications for CWA- represented employees, millions of customers of both companies and the entire industry. It is an opportunity for change in the telecom sector that if carried out properly, could make a great stride in fulfilling the promise of technology and high speed communications for all citizens.
This proposed acquisition of Bell South could not have come at a more critical time. The United States has slipped from leading the world's econom...

Should I switch from my old AT&T GSM contract to a new Cingular contract?
The problem is that over the past 2 months my service has gotten worse and worse, for both my phone and my wife's. The major symptom is audio breaking up, especially the other caller's audio. This happens even with good signal indicator on the phone (3+ bars), from places, such as my house, where my service used to be excellent. I have a Sony Ericsson T616, and my wife has an S-E T236, both locked to AT&T.
My question is: if I re-sign with Cingular and get new phones will my service improve? Or is the problem not that I have an "AT...

"AT&T's plan to merge with BellSouth and assume sole ownership of Cingular Wireless
would likely accelerate convergence between AT&T's fixed and mobile assets and

Event
On 5 March 2006, AT&T and BellSouth announced plans to merge, in a stock transaction worth
about $67 billion. When the deal is complete (expected by March 2007), AT&T will own Cingular,
the wireless joint venture that is currently 60 percent owned by AT&T and 40 percent owned by BellSouth. The AT&T name and brand will replace those of BellSouth and Cingular.
Analysis
This deal isn't surprising, but we didn't expect it so soon after SBC's acquisition of the "old...

Need Advice On A Good Dependable Durable Bluetooth Headset For A V557
Help with world version of SLVR.
The menu is different and some word spellings are a bit different. I've figured most everything out, except accessing Medianet, MMS messaging, etc.
I have tried this (https://secure.mouse2mobile.com/clients/newc ingular/ota/configuredevice.asp)and recieved a message saying I needed to install, but I have no idea what the authentication pin is. It's not 0000, 1234, the last four of my number, or the last four of my ssn. I'm hoping if I can figure out the pin, then this will be my final step, b...

SE Z520 or Motorola ROKR
I currently have a Samsung S307 and am on a Family Talk Plan with three phones and no contract. Because I need to purchase three phones, price is a factor. Need a phone with good reception and bluetooth. Looking at the
SE 7520 and the ROKR (don't like the RAZR or SLVR). Which would you recommend and why?
Thank you!
