Going on a biz trip to San Juan in March. I'm on a grandfathered Cingular Blue National plan. In checking if my trusty 6360 will work in San Juan I came across this on the Cingular PR website.

What will be the next markets to deploy 3G? and when?

Does anyone know if cingular will launch UMA and phones to go with it? This seems like such a great thing to be able to use WiFi networks to make calls and for data purposes.......just the signal coverage alone makes me happy 🙂

Ok I have a question about my seldom used Cingular phone (have Verizon also).

I have yet to find out or figure out how to get my name or a banner to display on the inside LCD. I also ran into this problem when I had the Samsung e317.

Is this just something that you can't do with Samsung phones?? I know it's a minor thing, but there are two people in my house with the same phone and none of us can figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

In a news release today, the number of customers that Cingular claims to serve has increased from 54.1 million to 54.6.
Anybody know what this change is due to?

I know Cingular has discounts for certain large companies, educational institutions, and more. However, do they offer any discounts to smaller non-profit organizations? What would an organization have to do to try and enroll for a discounted rate plan?

So im looking for a job in my local area with cingular. However on the internet they are not hireing here. I feel as if some of people that work at these stores are retarded. I go to ask questions and i end up telling them stuff. Im still in college and am just looking for partime retail/sales job. Also what kind of discounts or benifits do emplyees get?

In the past two weeks, I have been trying to resolve an issue with Cingular and cannot get a straight definitive answer. I closed my Cingular account in December because I was going to be out of the country indefinitely. I was charged ETF fees and paid them as I didn't know when I would be back. I returned on Feb 1. I called Cingular, told them my situation, and asked if I could open up my account again. I was told that I would have to start new and was asked if I would like to order a phone and new service again. I told them I would think about it as I wanted to shop around. I went to a Wal-Mart store and when they tried to process a new phone and service, it was rejected because their system said I had an account with Cingular close...

Has anyone in market 35 (SC, NC) had problems with the newly implemented secret shopper system? I have 2 sales associates in 2 separate locations, with histories of 90% or higher, that just received scores of 35 and 47. And they followed exactly the sales checklist our Cingular RAE's provided for us. If anyone else, dealer or corporate, has had problems this week with the new system, please please let me know!

Hi Peps, my sony W600i died last night I sent two text messages and then went to send a third when I sent the message the signal bars dropped the text did not send and the screen started to flicker I cut it off and back on and got the WSOD. And what so bad it was a insurance replacement brand new in the box with all the extras, this was a replacment for a sony S700i Now they are sending me a replacment W600i.

I just ordered a Motorola SLVR from E-Bay....I have not yet received it HOWEVER, when I do, is there anything special I would need to do to program MMODE ?? Will I need to add picture messaging plan ??

while my bluetooth headset is on, my phone wont play ringtones, not even the default 'cingular tone.' it will only play a regular ringing sound like one would hear on a landline phone. when the bluetooth is turned off this is not a problem and everything plays fine. the phone is a RAZR V3, and the headset is a Plantronics Voyager 510. other than that issue i like the phone so far (only bought it a number of hours ago.) any info would be helpful 🙂

Does anyone know how to record a greeting before the music starts with cingular answertones? they don't officially launch until 2/6 and the website does not have instructions on how to do this. i've tried doing it by calling *TONE also, but recording a greeting is not an option. Any help would be appreciated. 🙂

Am ready to give up one of our unlimited plans. Has a 714 number (Orange Co. Ca.) Number can be changed, but area code can't.

If it is worth something, I'll sign it over to a present Cingular customer in exchange for a contribution to a charity - as long as it isn't the NRA.

I am a former ATTWS customer, and make my payments using OCS at www.cingular.com. Iattempted to make a payment tonight, and received a message that former ATTWS customer accounts are being transitioned and that OCS will not be available. (I got Messafe BC102.)

I then called 611, and made a credit card payment. I received a confirmation number. After I received the confirmation, it said my call was being routed to a rep. I asked the rep if my payment went thru (I referenced the confirmation number,) and she said that my last payment was in January.

She said "I can take your CC payment," and I said I just received a confirmation number. Does anyone know for sure if my payment went thru ??? My cycle ends on the 14th.....will I recei...
