Is there a difference in the Cingular vs oversea model?

I have worked for Cingular in customer service for a few years know and in the financial industry in customer service. I make great decisions that benefit Cingular and benefit the customer. I have made these decisions and have given two customers with the same issue the same suggestion and they both react differently. One tells me I am a wonderful person and a great customer service rep. the customer will dam me to hell and threaten me and Cingular with a lawsuit to get out of his contract without a penalty. I noticed that they are offering discounts on phones if u renew your contract with them. My question is has anyone here tried this, since i though only cingular stores did this! here is the link of what i am talking about; look @ the lower left hand side.

The launch of the Samsung zx10 and LG cu320 UMTS phones must have been deplayed for a January launch, so the pages for both phones here on phonescoop say they are planned for February. Does anyone know when these two phones are coming to the stores, or when they will become available for purchase?

Yes.........NO lie....just purchased at wal-mart for 128.43 w/ tax it is like $137. I just upgraded my contract for one little year to get that price....if I woulf of done a 2 yr it would even be cheaper.......im just excited b/c cingular is pricing this phone at $199.99 on a new 2 year agreement!!! I got a steal buddy!!! Walmart also has the black and grey razr for only $98 if you upgrade for one year.....crazy cheap!!! Go wally world!

ok i'm transferind videos over bluetooth. the format is in 3gpp. my win amp nor does my windoes media player support that format. does anyone know a free or good even if it has cost player theat will support that file?

I recently got a SE W600i which I love... however, I had to get an iPAQ pocket PC around the same time, which regardless of what HP says it will not recognize/support Cisco's LEAP protocol which is our office's wireless network. So, I'm about to return the iPAQ, and am thinking of selling the W600i and going with a Windows smartphone instead. Unfortunately, that's probably what I should have done in the first place! :rolleyes:

Anyway, looking for recommendations between the MPx220, the SMT5600 and/or the 2125. I don't need the keyboard of the 8125 since I won't be a heavy e-mail user... can deal with using the phone keypad for the random e-mail here and there. Since most people don't share their positive experiences, I thought I would...

My girlfriend bought a SE z520a last fall at Best Buy and loves her phone. She bought it there because they had the phone before any Cingular stores in our area were carrying it.

Anyway, last week, it started having all kinds of problems. No signal all day in places that used to be fine, missed calls, missed messages, phone not ringing, phone just freezing, etc. I had heard that this model had a memory leak problem and had been recalled, so I thought we'd try going into the local Cingular store and see if we could exchange it for a new phone of the same model, rather than waiting and trying to do an exchange-by-mail.

Okay, here's the deal. I just got the 2125 and I think it is a pretty awesome phone. The only thing that I am having trouble with is copying my Sim Contacts to the phone. On the Audiovox 5600 there was a Sim Manager but no such luck on this bad boy. Tried beaming from another phone but no luck. Any ideas besides one by one?

OS on cingy phones does it matter which one you have to determine signal quality?

can anyone tell me how fast these phones are capable of? I am tired of tired speeds from EDGE, thanks in advanced.

Just went to the cingular store to check out some new phones and one of the reps had the 8125. Phone is hot, he says that it is slated to come out middle of february but more than likely it will be early march. I got to play with it a little bit, I think it could blow away the treo.

I created my media net login a year ago when I came to Cingular, have not made any changes to the settings on my phone and I am logging in the exact same way I have in the past (push the little orange Cingular guy to get on the wireless internet). Oh, and I have a Motorola V551

can i transfer files to or from the razr via usb? if so, how? if not then whats the usb connection for? when i connect it to my pc windows doesnt seem to recognize it.

Cingular had pulled the Z520A 3 weeks ago from the Premier Website (Boston market) and put it back yesterday.

My corporate sponsorship price went from $50 to $108 during that time.

Has there been any improvement? There is no indication that PTT has been added.

Anybody have some answers?
