when is a good estimate Minneapolis/St.Paul will have 3G? Summer end of 2006?

Is this something serious. All that has happend is my phone rang without lighting up is this normal thing?

I have a question about Roaming. I recently switched back to my Nokia 6340i because of all the issues I've been having with the SE Z500a. The 6340i is the best phone I've ever had as far as reception and the ability to actually hear. I did notice one thing. For some reason my phone refuses to roam anymore. When I was back on my SE Z500a, it would roam onto a Centennial GSM tower when I would move out of the Blue/Orange areas. When I started using my 6340i again, it no longers roams. I realize the technology is different between this phone and the newer ENS capable phones, but why am I having problems roaming. Shouldn't the roaming database stay the same even thought I switch phones?

I cant use my usb anymore to transfer music/pics to my phone so I was wondering can i do this through bluetooth from my pc to my phone?

I am trying to record from the TV to my Siemens CF62 (so I can watch Dr. Phil on my phone) I spliced some audio visual cables which I have hooked up to a sidekick data connectivity kit.

All it does is the screen goes like 40 different colors and gets real hot.

Any help would be much apprecited.

is there a way (other than asking the intended recipient) to determine if a text messege has been recieved or not? i know that verizon has that feature, im wondering if cingular has it too.

I've looked everywhere I can think of, but can't find an acurate count of PTT subscribers on Cingular's network... I'd be interested to know how it has fared across the company.

I know what my store has done, but I want to know nationwide numbers...

It appeared for a while that Cingular wasn't coming out with any nice, cool phones, but now with today's launch of the Motorola SLVR L7, it seems like Cingular is aiming to please us customers with the latest and greatest, this phone is another exclusive model, so this is the only carrier for quite a while.

Also, with 3g phones coming out, and expanding coverage in so many areas, it sure seems like a great 2006 so far, and hopefully many more good suprises like today's in the coming weeks and months. 😁

i see on the web its $199.99 with 2 year agreement. will the upfront cost stay $199.99 with additionals rebates or will it go up and then cost $199.99 after whatever additional rebates. 😕

If you live in oregon or washington the best Cingular Agent is SMART WIRELESS, Do not be fooled by Mobile Systems or Activate. They are simply out to get your MONEY. They display no sense of customer service and truley have no ambition whatsoever to help customers when it comes down to the customer service aspect of buisness.

A Yahoo! branded phone for Cingular was mentioned on here several months back. Anyone have any info on this? I pay for Yahoo's! Launch Cast plus streaming audio....would be awesome to have that on a phone, was think a yahoo phone.....yahoo services??

A friend of mine recently recieved a call on his T-Mobile phone from someone claiming to be from T-Mobile. My friend posted what happened on his livejournal:

"I just got a call on my cell phone from somebody claiming to be from T-Mobile and claiming to offer me a rebate. Being the suspicious person that I am, I noticed that something didn't sound quite right about the situation. He asked for my name and social security #, which I did not give. I pressed the caller for information (ie his supervisor's name, and how he had my address), and he hung up, knowing that the scam was up.

3) Poor network quality -dropped calls, "network busy" and "message failed" will quickly become part of your life if you make the mistake of choosing Cingular as your wireless carrier. Got our shipment of the slvr in today. Has anybody used it??

I will be on a call and hear nothing but dead air I look and my phone seems to still be connected for a few seconds I dont hear anything and then I hear the caller It this a common problem?

Hey I was hoping someone could answer for me the specs on the camera? Is it 1.3 megapixel or no? I got the dummy in my store but it will be about a week till we get any live models and I havent heard the specifics on the camera yet. How well is it suppose to hold up against the V3i thats coming out soon. Also will it have flash? Thx in advance for any info.

Friend of mine works for cingular customer service here in austin texas.

Said a cooperate rep came down told everyone that the new RAZR V3i would be a 2 megapixel camera with flash, i TUNES (with the option for something called Motorola radio) not sure what that is, EDGE,Screen3, bigger internal and external displays and removable memory up to 2 GB.

If that's the case I am holding out for it!!
