How is this new LG C2000? Call quality etc,?

I have been a SprintPCS user for 8 years. Several different contracts and phones later, I'm moving to area where the primary coverage seems to be covered by Cingular.

I had a connection with a Sprint rep that I used time and again on getting me the most "bang for my buck" with features, freebies, add-ons, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have that benefit heading into a new contract with a new company.
-Any advice or "tricks" into getting extra features?
-How much flexability do sales reps have?
-Are there any "switch from your old carrier to us" kind of promotions?
-Are the plans I see online the same plans offered "in store".
-I'm in Missouri if there are any reps that could handle my switch.

When I go to the mall on Saturday and walk by the cingular kiosk the cingy sales rep damn near yell out, what's you got, what's you got. Even if you walk by them five minutes later there be another one, who's your provider, who's your provider. What kind of ghetto practice is this? Is this the only way cingular can get customers?

I have a friend who has an AT&T branded Nokia 6620. Trying to find out if it is unlocked. If she inserts her Cingular SIM card and it does NOT ask for a subsidy code, does that mean it's unlocked??

For the second time in a month, this site is being blocked on the floor in my call center. Any other CSRs able to access this site?

I've tried both http and https, the latter worked for a while but is now blocked also.

so after getting my v600 i was like...this will be my last phone for a GOOD while! then the razr came out and i DEFINITLY did not like it and knew i'de have the v600 longer than i thought if this "razr" was the new thing
but when the black razr came out it was all over
i finally broke down and got it today. its so lovely i love it lol.

so turns out...you CAN have multiple numbers listed under ONE phonebook entry/name!

all this time i hated motorolas because i always had like 3 different entries for anyone with more than 1 phone number lol...

so this is how its done...

first of all, the original contact has to be saved to your phone and not your sim card. its only available like this. its probably why most of us never knew because we usually save our numbers to our sim card for safety but i have a sidekick II so i dont really care. ANYWAYS. once its saved to the PHONE

I don't care if the phone is used, but must be cheap and still under warranty!! Oh, and must be workable with Cingular of-course. Any suggetions?

Has anyone ever compared the Samsung p777 and the LG A7110? Its weird, its like LG made a straight carbon copy clone, only went cheap and cut out the mp3 player and went to the old school headset instead of samsungs headset type. even the button configuration on the slide and ont he sides are identical. the only real difference is the camera location, again in a less expensive setup location on the lg. seriously, check it out. it'll make you do this 😳

i did some research and there is an updated model of the sony ericsson z500a coming out the z520a the camera still the same vga howeverthis phone does have bluetooth and other things as well

availabliltiy 3 quarter this yr... so by end of sept is planned availability

I heard some interesting news that the cda discounts will be availbale in retail stores again soon. Has anyone heard this also? Also is it going to be like the legacy blue discounts or the current orange based discounts that arent as good as the 2 year consumer discount?

As a Tier one company rep I got my warnings about the new rate plans and changes to the rollover minutes today.

The new FT plans are exactly what VZW offers, way to lead the industry Cingular. 🙄 Go here www.verizonwireless.com to see the plans.

Now about the rollover minutes. Starting Sep 1, ANY change to customers pp will mean they can keep 1x the number of minutes in there plan in their rollover bank.

SO, lets say Mrs Oldlady calls up because shes sees she has 8000 rollover minutes in their bucket. She's been on a 99.99 2000 minute plan, now she wants to go down the 39.99 Nat 450. Well I need to let you know Mrs. Oldlady, when you change your plan at the end of your bill cycle you're only going to keep 450 of your rollov...

Hey All!

I have a spanish cell phone from vodafone and i just unlocked it.

I want to start using Cingular Gophone because there rates are good for me (.25c flat)and there service is great in my area.

I was wondering how much an activation kit costs in the cingular store, and what it comes with: Sim card, $$$credit, etc.

I can get a gophone sim card on ebay for like $10, but an activation kit with sim on ebay is like $20.

Has anyone else had problems trying to transfer files (primarily mp3 ringtones) via bluetooth to the razr? It worked when I initially got it a week ago, but now when i try to send a file I get a "File is Corrupt" error. It's really starting to bother me.

On another note, when I try to send myself a link to an mp3 sound file, which works on any other phone, it downloads it fully, confirms that the download is complete, shows the amount of kilobytes transferred, and then it's not stored on the phone or anything.

Frankly this is really starting to bother me. And I had two customers come in today with the same problem.

PS. This is the "new and revamped" Black RAZR.

Has anyone heard about this new promotion? Blue GAIT customers are give two options either migrate to Cingular with a free Nokia 6010 and new 24 month agreement, or reprogram your phone to work on only GSM, but only on the 1900 frequency (and we were informed that the 850 is stronger and where the money is going) plus you have to go to a GSM blue default plan where in many cases is moving to a local more expensive plan. We were told that if customer weren't happy with these options that they can cancel their service but with a ETF. And these are the calls we are now taking all day long...You wouldn't believe the amount of Sup calls we have. I just had 5 in a row. And one of them was a store agent!

With the talk of something new Sept. 1, is there any risk getting a new plan now? I am a TDMA user and want to migrate. I will be migrating with my own unlocked phone and probably select a basic plan with a data option.

Will I be able to take advantage of anything new in Sept with the 30 day policy?

I just switched to a GSM plan from TDMA and I was wondering how minutes are used...

1. Do calls to voicemail count against usage? If so, what if I call my own mobile number instead of the VM number?

2. Do incoming calls that go to voicemail count against usage?
