not to complain or anything....

sorry for yet another customer complaint, this one's not a huge one, it just kinda bugs me when i ask for their 10 digit wireless number, they give it to me, i repeat it back to them(and write it down) then it doesn't pull up in the system and they're like "well that's not the right number!!!) and make it seem like im stupid. nope usually they gave me their home number by mistake out of habit or just forgot their damn cell number or something. but it bugs me

pre paid question

hey all.. i hate these stupid pre paid stuff.. but yet again i need you alls help.. custoemr has the 10 cent min plan.. the dummy locked up his sim card.. is there a way to fix this... or do i just need to re do a whole new account (which of course i dont mind doing.. shoot itll buy me a pack of smokes)

FAMILY PLANS!!!

i am stuck between getting cingular or tmobile. here are the details

T-Mobile

Pros
-inexpensive (least expensive family plan for 4 starting at $70)
-they have coverage in my area, and i don't travel a lot, so roaming isn't a big deal

Cons
-BAD PHONE LINEUP (i only want 2 of their phones, samsung e315 and motorola v330)
-t-mobile seems girly, especially with their phones, but i think i can manage


Cingular

Pros
-Finally, i can afford the MOTOROLA RAZR V3!!!! it costs about $150 at a store by me
-they have coverage in my area, and if i find myself in a strange area, i can rely on coverage to call and get help
-good phone line-up, very manly

Cons
-Family plan starts at $90!!!!!!
-expanding from above, expensive

Individual Plan - $29.99

Anyone know if Cingular will put back the individual plan for $29.99? 200 anytime min and 5000 night and weekend?

Thinking about cancelling service, any suggestions

Ok, so I like Cingular as far as price plans and phone selection overall, but the service in my area is far frome desireable. I live near Canada and my phone keeps losing a signal and going to Canadas signal. They take the Roaming off every month but the service is horrible as far as reception.

My phone is the e317 and its horrible, people break in and out, the volume is too low.

Any suggestions of a company to go to that has nice phones? I had TMobile and loved it, but cingular gave me a 18% discount every month because of my employer.

lg 1400 faceplates.

i just recieved a new faceplate for my phone, problem is theres no foam sticker that goes around the inside to keep the dust and whatnot off the screen, and also theres no cover for the camera, just a open hole with a sticky tab. do these comewith, or do I need to peel what came off the original. Or can I order from somewhere.

any takers. thanks!!!

I need a replacement for my e317

Any suggestions for a phone I can purchase to replace me e317 model? I cant take the horrible sound quality anymore. Either I cant hear the person, tehy break up, or they sound like a robot 99.9% of the time. No wonder it was discontinued.

FInal Warning prior to Termination

I work for Cingular cusotmer service. I have recived several awards for giving excellent service. I have been told I am one of the top 5 reps in my call center. But I am on a final written warning for coming back from Lunch to early. Management tells me that if all reps were as good as me they would not have as many frustrated customers. but in spite of that they are sasying they are going to fire me for coming back from lunch to early.

Black Moto V3 POS

Just got my Black RAZR POS today. I was told by a COR employee that Moto plans on releasing the black version at $399!! I was told pricing will be the same as the silver. Anyone wish to comment. By the way as txwireless reported order will be taken for the black version June 30th.

No Hassle/No Haggle

How many people here think that the cell phone industry would benefit from doing what alot of the car dealerships are doing, and institute a "No Hassle/No Haggle" policy?? And I don't just mean cingular, I mean EVERY carrier. The price you see is the price you pay. I truely wish cell phones were over here the way they were in europe. You buy your phone at retail, go to the carrier and get a sim card and service. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this?? I think it would actually keep the costs on phones down if this was a common policy, because we wouldn't have to upprice the phones for all the people who complain enough to get theirs for free....

question for reps.

I had a former ATT wireless cust wanting to migrate to cingular (sponsorship buis. cust) - he wanted to order the SAMSUNG P207, but I've never had it in my inventory- and it shows up as only being able to be purchased online- which seems unfair for our business customers who cannot migrate or upgrade online. Is there any way around this? Can we order the P207- If so I have no pricing for it and it doesn't show up on my available equipment grid. any info reps?

What happened to the nokia 7610 off the website. I live in the chicago market and it never even came to the retail locations over here? Nows its not even on the website. Did the phone get discontinued? Please help i really want this phone. 😕

DISCOUNTS IN CANADA ???

After a bit of conversing on a seperate thread,I have decided to start this one in order to seek discounts on phones,plans,and the like for call center employees in Canada.I have heard many different things that U.S Reps receive as far as discounts and fringe benifits,and it makes me want to jump up and down screaming "its not fair",but,instead I have started this thread to see if there is something that I'm unaware of here in Canada with ANY service provider similar to what the U.S reps get. Anybody know if theres any deals for us Canadian Reps?

red tape

okay, so this is a rant on the red tape and millions of different access numbers and other numbers us reps have to remember to get anything done in this business...

why do we have to call a different number for every individual thing we need to get done...isn't there a switchboard where we can just tell the opperator "i need to talk to someone about a port that hasn't gone through" or "i need to talk to someone about the DiamlerChrysler corporate discount getting added to this account" or something of that nature...wouldn't that help streamline things as opposed to bogging down CSR's with them telling agents no, you need to call this obscure number, and then possibly give them the wrong number for their market...

Down With the Orange Giant!!

Man, don't you just love buyouts? Nothing but good times when one company ingests another and its employees. As an employee, I'm not stressed about the plans or anything like that. Its when the employee perks are affected do I become worried. As a blue employee, I enjoyed my blue employee phone. Unlimited mins, data, roaming and text messaging is wonderful. The LD was .07/min but so what. They even gave us a phone to start with. All this for free, free I tell you. Well, thats going away. I work in a divested market (NC) therefore, my MSISDN (telephone number) will belong to Triton PCS soon. My coworkers and I now have to change to an orange ERP by July 8th. WTF? 1000 mins vs unlim; 5MB data vs. unlim; 200 text vs. unlim... What in the blue h...
