havent been able to send a text message in two days
and when it does finally go thru, they receive 3 of the same message(im sure they are charging me for all 3)

non stop problems with them

1) Am I eligible to migrate to CINGULAR if I have 12 months remaining on my ATTWS contract ??

When is Cingular going to launch their own multimedia service or take at least take advantage of the SE s710a streaming multimedia feature.

I fill the same way, only about people who work in the cell phone business, I have lost count of the time I have talked to customer dis-service and I have now more about what the what was available or was gong on than they did.

yea why is change of ownership so hard and confusing for the customer.. is there a secret way we as sales reps just run credit on the other person and change the name on the account.. or must we go threw hoops getting this signed faxed here shipped there blood sample here.. just wondering if I'm an idiot or if theres an easier way to do this.. any help would be great

Finally, agent stores can now sell B2B plans starting June 20th. There a choice of 3 different plans and is capped up to 40 lines.

That great.....I am tired of the B2B corporate folks yelling at me for selling their plans to buisnesses. Good money in outside sales!!!!

I have a family talk plan with two lines and I bought a phone from eBay and went into a Cingular corp. store and asked may I buy just a sim for this phone and add it to my account and NOT be committed to a contract on this phone since I am not getting a phone from you. And I was told that I would not have to be in a contract on this line, so I paid the $24.99 for the sim and popped it in and made a test call to my other line to see if it worked and it did so I left and when I was looking at my account online I saw that did show that I was in a two year contract on this new phone and when I called to ask them about this I was told that I did not have to sign a contract or agree to one for them to put me in a contract, is it just me or does...

I have noticed a lot lately, that there are quite a few Digital phones on GSM rate plans. I have asked these customers if it affects the usage of their digital phones or if they have billing issues, and they all reply "no".

How is this possible? I thought that you can only put a GSM phone on a GSM plan. Are there any hidden dangers that the customer should be aware of? I do know that GAIT phones w/o the IME number on a GSM plan can cause billing problems.

Has anyone else been having massive issues with dropped calls. I have a 6230 and a v551 on 2 different numbers both with the 64k sim. The v551 I know has the newer firmware and the 6230 is pre ENS. Any thoughts?

Is there a restriction at Cingular to restrict telemarketer calls on cingular cell phones. I thought that cell phone companies doesn't let telemarketers call their subscribers. That is just what i heard so I dont know if its true. any info on this would be appreciated!

Hi. I have a simple question. If I choose to just upgrade my plan to a new family plan, that doesn't lock me into a new contract yet, right? You don't get locked into a new contract plan unless you purchase a new phone through Cingular, correct?

I just had a pair of winners.

the first: A dealer, went to migrate this women account. Instead of doing right he some how ports her number to T-Moblie! 😕 😳 How in the name of all that is holy do you mange to snafu something like that?

The second was this women who first assumed that becuase att no longer has any plans avaible and that to get a nation wide plan she must migrate, that that lets her out of contract. and secondly becuase she tried GSM service TWO YEARS AGO that it won't work in her area now! WTF?!? 😳

Why do they give some people cell phones? Isn't they a policy that one has to be sane and non-mentally challenged to own a phone? They do have to sign a contract after all, don't they?

The Walmart store I went to had the v551 for only $48! Instant rebates and everything, why is it soo cheap?

I've been a CSR for quite some time and I've heard every complaint there is out there to hear. Still didn't stop me from looking into Cing and other carriers to see if it'll fit my needs.

After research, I narrowed it down to T-Mobile and Cingular. I had Sprint and the plans were good. The options were good. And the features were cheap. However, the phones weren't cutting it and I couldn't get a signal for crap in my house. And Verizon? We'll, my GF had the same prob as me within her house, plus there were many dropped calls. **** CDMA 👿 Alltell? Laughable 🤣 Nextel? Phones are too much and the plans suck if you want a family talk plan.

For anyone in the Dallas and surrounding areas who's noticed some text messaging problems, they have isolated the issue and are expected to reroute the traffic during tonights maintenence window. The tower is basically hitting capacity so about 30% of the messages are being bounced off and have to be resent during peak hours.

It's affecting my phone too, but it's good to know thwy're working on it.

😈 if you transfer an unnessasary call to tech we have a tracker will fill out and send to your manager and area manager. a guarenteed way to get a tracker (and coaching) transfer the customer on the phone. 😈
