The short of it.


I got a pamphlet in the mail naming the defendant "AWS" and a large customer database as the plaintiffs. Anyone who cancelled service within a certian date (can't remember the dates) is being sent this notce to join the class action lawsuit.

Any who, they are filing the class action lawsuit against AWS for not disclosing that if you cancel you service you will be billed for the full month, not a prorated month. I will be anxious to see what comes of it as Cingular does the same thing.

What is it?

I have the Sony Ericsson T237 and i love it. I want to sign onto AIM and it says my screen name of password is incorrect. Do i have to register my phone because my phone says its already on there. Im wondering do i have to set my AOL screen name to support AIM on the phone or something?

How is the p777 reception wise, pic taking quality, all around? IS this a wise upgrade from the motorola v551?

Any thought on witch one is better. I like the 6230 but it don't have ringer ID and the 6620 does. I have the Sony s710a and it has the ringer ID and my wife loves that and she wants a new phone that had all the bells that the two nokia have but the 6230 don't have the ringer ID. Also why did Cingular take the 6230 of its website when the 6620 is older and still here. I know you can still get the 6230 from a Cingular store.

I have heard it has horrible reception? Cingular is usually 5 bars in my area. So im not sure. Sony Ericsson T237 Go-Phone

In theory, one day the TDMA network will be obsolete. Nobody will access it & it will have no purpose.

What will happen to it? Will it be torn down or will it be sold off?

NE1 know which company has the best data rate? So if someone uses their laptop on the road constantly which place has the best deal for that type of access using GPRS or EDGE?

I am having bluetooth problems with my phone. I have called Cingular Customer service and they tell me that they are not trained to fix BT issues. They have told me that there is a seperate division that handles bluetooth troubleshooting, but they can't give me the number to that division.

Can someone please direct me to the right place to get BT issues fixed with my phone.

Hopefully yall can help me out. I just got my Motorola a780 today and need the MMS settings. I already have the WAP settings and the browser is up and running (its an awesome Opera browser the runs full html). But now I need the MMS settings so if anyone has those please either post them or PM them to me. Thank you so much in advance.

Can someone please help me out and post the MMS settings for Cingular. I just got an unlocked phone and am trying to configure it so I can send/receive MMS messages. So if someone could post them or PM them to me that would be great. Thanks!

Has anyone noticed that on the Nation 900 family talk, that the first line is $59.99 and the second is $19.99 witch equals 79.98 for 900 minutes .

The Nation 1100 family talk, has the first line for 69.99 and the second line is 9.99 witch equals $78.98 😕 😕

Why would anyone not take the 1100 plan.

I just got off the phone with a Cingular CS guy and his tone was very chilly. I had ordered an additional line for my mother for Mother's Day and she went behind my back and signed up with Verizon. I told her to go ahead and keep Verizon because they are a good carrier and that I would just cancel the add on. When I called, dude got an attitude. You could hear the tension and rudeness in his voice. I tell you what, Cingular needs to get CS reps like this out of the company. I spend $220 per month with them and I think when I talk to someone that they should be a little more friendly. Hell if it was not for the great phone selection without crippled bluetooth and the great coverage, I would have told the guy about his self and visited ...

For anyone who calls 411 on Cingular, there's a new Star Wars menu in "other services" where you can hear the trailer for the new Star Wars movie, play a trivia game and hear a promo for ring tones and stuff.

I think the best part is that you can also turn on a Jedi 411 thing so that every time you call 411 you get the normal service, but it sounds different with Star Wars sounds like R2D2 and C3PO in the audio you hear.

There are charges for the directory assistance calls, but if you're a Star Wars fan its pretty cool.

Had a customer call in which according to CSP I should have been able to help. Sales rep in FEB told her that a POA had been added to her husbands (now a deployed sailer) account. Of course no hint of this on acct notes. CSP says that some mythical "optic" will let me see if the POA is on file. Well, not the one I can access. I love it when a link gives me "THIS PAGE HAS BEEN REMOVED". The caller was very happy to scream at me for 30min while I wasted my time trolling for info. So, is there a magic "word" I can enter to reveal the truth? Or is thais BAU? I'm sure this will show up on my TCP ... I ream PAR report. But hey, I still have my red Swingline.

I just wanted to let all the reps out there know about a cool little sight that will give you step-by-step instructions on how to do just about everything with your phone.

The coolest thing is that under the email tab they have a list of a bunch of pop3 servers such as hotmail, Gmail, yahoo...etc so now you can get you email without having to log into anything.

did you guys have access to unlock codes there at all ?
