So... I have a V220. I was told earlier that when I send an MMS message, it will not use KB or Bytes. Well I have sent 2 picture messages & each time it transfers the message via MediaNet. Is this supposed to happen? 😕

Recently I drove from Chicago to New York, then back. In all the way Cingular kept up with me when it came to having a good signal. Most of the trip I had full bars, sometimes not, and I lost service 2 times.

Keeping in mind that most of the drive was through very rural areas, the service was impressive!

So I am thinking about getting the MEdia Basic package.

I know that you get billed for incoming & outgoing SMS. Is this the same for MMS? 😕

So it seems you are the one of the most helpful and knowledgeable reps on this site so I was wondering if you would be able to help me out in the next couple of days. I am purchasing a Motorola a780 and will need help getting the WAP and MMS settings configured. Would you be able to help me out or do you know anyone who is reputable who can? I am wiery about calling Cingular customer service because this is an advanced phone and I fear that may not want to help me. So if you can help me out in any way that would be great.

i dont know of any way to download ringtones onto a nokia 3560 from attws...if anyone knows ANY way the info would be much appreciated, Thanx

Ok I have a v400 that I got in augest 2004. I dont think it's ens capable and my brother lost his phone and he had a 64k sim. Now If I just give him my phone and buy a new one will the 64k sim in a non 64k sim function properly? I know that it will still work but will it result in weaker signal strength? Or could I put his phone number on my 32k sim and he can use my v400, while I buy a 64k sim and use it on a new cingular phone?

i'm here till midnight! what the heck? from 9pm on i turn into customer service, and i don't have any of the tools to be able to assist the customer. i mean, if you're going to make it so we're the only ones open, at least give us all the things we'll need to do our job.

Its that I dont think I should get any extra charges because you guys never told us if we didnt pay the balance in full you could shut off our phone.

Grrr I wish people would think before they spoke. This customer wanted a cancelled due to non-pay account reinstated I adv her of the fees and that she may have to buy a new sim card and then started the rant above.

Is this phone as good as it's made out to be?? I want to get a really good phone but it has to have bluetooth.I have a v505 and it just sucks all the time .Bad reception,hard to hear on it etc.etc. and it's been replaced twice it seems refurbished phones have their out problems ie not refurbished to well. Thanks for any input.

i currently have AT&T and want a new phone. they tell me that i would have to migrate to Cingular then. the problem is that i lose alot of the bonuses on my account. i currently have a $59.99 plan with 1200 minutes, 7pm nights. the reason i have 1200 minutes is because 400 of them free upgrades which i have got over the 7yrs i been with AT&T. and if i switch over to cingular i would pay $18 activation on both my lines, lose 7pm nights, and lose the 400 extra minutes i had.

can anyone please advise me on what i can do. i want the new Samsung P207 but they dont want to honor the $100 rebate i was supposed to get from AT&T if i renewed my contract after a year. i dont think its fair i lose my promotions or have to pay a activation fee.
