I just flashed my v400 to v400p, and wow.. It was great at first then I noticed some flaws. Not bad enough flaws where I am going back to v400.

1. the speakerphone can connect before the call connects, which is good BUT depends what feature you have on. If you have speaker phone option enabled it will connect and be just fine, but if you don't want to make a speakerphone call, as soon as it connects speaker phone comes on. If you turn this feature off, then use speaker phone to connect to a call as soon as the call connects, it goes to regular speaker.

2. get a weird txt message ever so ofter, probably not due to the flash though.

Other than that the phone works great, speaker phone is louder, the camera seems clearer compared to...

I have an unlocked v505 and need to set up the mms settings but I can't find them online and not all cingular customer care agents are the same are there any csr's willing to sahre theis information with me it should be the same settings as the v400 please help

i was just navigating thru cingular.com and did a little experiment. since the razr is pretty popular i made a mock order for the razr and guess what. if you go far enough into the order you get to the additional features and sure enough insurance is one of these features and it will even let you add it and complete the order. now this is a can of worms waiting to explode!!

Hey you guys in the stores are your prices better then ours here at care. Customer's are saying they are. i.e. V220 $79.99 2 year. I'd like to know because I don't really like to suck customer to paying more if they don't half too.

I've had 5 customers escalate today because store reps are telling customers to call warranty exchange for new phones free.

I have a v551 and i want a pda that supports bluetooth also. I hope to find a way to connect my phone to the pda and use the phones edge to surf the web on my pda. Now my question is how would i go about doing this? how many items can u connect to bluetooth at one time?

I just had a call... This guy is eligible for an upgrade and has had unlimited inbound calling for free. This feature was supposed to end 10/2004 but for whatever reason the rep agreed to extend the feature until 8/2006... We decided okay we'll honor that even though it's an invalid feature... He wanted us to extend the period until 12/2006 if he upgrade... We advised him we could not honor that but will honor 8/2006... Unlimited inbound is $14.99/mo and he's had it for free since 3/29/2000! So, because we won't extend it to 12/2006 he says he's going to cancel... I can't believe people are like this... seriously, this was a joke... We gave him over $1100 worth of a feature and that's not good enough?

Does anyone know anything about the new Motorola v400p and when it might come out. Thanks.

Verizon just released the Kyocera KX2 Koi swivel style phone, with video and the whole works. Cingular is coming out with the Sony Ericsson s710a, which is a very similar phone, with the same swivel design.

Verizon was first to release the model, now where is the SE s710a for Cingular...when it comes down to competition, I hope this isn't a trend with Cingular when it comes to releasing phones. Only time will tell.

If I walk into a cingular store to migrate do I need my old phones? I have a family share plan with 3 phones.

Since I'm not in the business and don't understand how cellular service works, I'm just wondering why contracts are required--they aren't with local phone service.

Does anyone ever think there will come a day when we don't need contracts and you can buy your phone anywhere and sign up with any company you want to (who has service in your area)?

I guess that would mean that all cellular services would have to be using the same frequencies, and is that what makes them "different" companies now?

When if ever will they let you migrate a family share plan on line.

I just got a motorola v551 about a week ago and was wondering if there was a way i can trade it in for the motorola a630 and just pay the difference? if theres no way i can do this just let me know without calling me a stupid customer.
