i just got a customer on the line not two seconds ago that stated upfront that he has a t-mobile phone which he states he SOMEHOW purchased at a cingular store. He is upset thathis internet is not working..he's been adv by both t-mobile and cingular that there is nothing we can do about that, when you use a phoen from another carrier your internet will nto work. Period. He says "well, i bought the phone from cingular" and I said "sir, we do not sel T-mobile phones at our company stores. It is mandated by the FCC that we cannot do that, but regardless of WHERE or WHO you got it from, the internet will not work." The guy refuses to believe me, and req a manager who is advising him of the same thing...Oi

Can you get the phone billed to your account or do you have to pay out of pocket and upfront at the time of activation? 😳

Im currently with T-Mobile and I was lookin on switchin over to cingular..I wanted to know if there are any special plans that will be out for the holiday season...i like the $49.99 600 min plan but i wanted to know if there was anything else that somebody knew of...plus will cingular have anything above 750 text message plan like unlimited or something like that..

Yesterday morning I ordered online the LG L1400 phone for $29.99, got the Nation Plan 850 minutes for $59.99, added MEdia Works for $19.99, and opted for fast shipping of $14.95.

Unbeknownst to me until I later checked my account balance to notice Cingular charged me twice for my deposit, twice for the phone, 3x's for shipping/handling, and 3x's for tax. 😢

So I called Cingular and my bank. My bank said the money hasn't actually been deducted yet but stated that it does indeed look as though Cingular over charged me several times. I hope they are right. I'm hearing everything will be a minimum of 50% off, with many items selling for $1. If true, this would be a good time to pick up accessories and stuff.
