Which call centers are working Thanksgiving?

I just got a guy who's mad because his call dropped while he was on the phone with a very important business partner...he tells me he's talking hundreds of thousands of dollars that he could be losing due to our crappy service...his phone was cutting out the entire time, and he was being quite the dick....He doesn't believe me when I tell him I can't find his number in ANY of the alabama markets, and he keeps telling me over and over again that he's losing so much money over this like it's going to fix something. He then tells me he's out of money on his acct and he needs it on there right F@*$ing now...He then asks me if I'm T-Mobile...I tell him "no", and then gave him the T-mobile number....He then asks me how he got cingular when he call...

With the November 15th date meaning that former AT&T customers will be able to migrate to Cingular phones and plans (according to several AT&T stores), will that date also bring new phones?

We should expect something to come out around that time, or anytime next week, with some sort of announcement coming from Cingular on November 10th on their web site: newcingular.com

The Phone Finder section here at phonescoop only shows three models, what happened to all the phones that AT&T was supposted to be getting before they were bought out?

(Hopefully those models are getting re-branded.)

Have you heard any PTT news? I have heard rumors around cingular that we will have PTT by Christmas 2004.

Hello everyone, I'm an agent in West Texas and I just received my first shipment of 64k sim cards and I'm wondering what's the difference. I've heard that along with having more memory for your phonebook, it will also enhance the service. I'm not sure how true that is but I would like some clarification. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I'm certainly not new to phonescoop, but I had no business in the Cingular forum previously. So I found out today that Day One for the new combined Cingular is NOVEMBER 15th! Did anybody else have any idea about this? In other words, we have less than a three week turnaround from closing day to Day One, as they have dubbed it. Amazing. My poor AWS rep has no idea what to do with himself and is trying frantically to get trained in time, as am I. One thing I noticed is that today I got my new Cingular brochures, and it looks like Oregon (where I am, and previously having no Cingular at all) is showing less coverage in the Cingular brochure map than they had in the latest ATTWS GSM map. Hello everyone, new to the forum here. By now everyone already knows that Cingular has officially started the merger with AT&T Wireless. I am the owner of two cell phone stores here in Albuquerque, NM and we have been open for about 2 1/2 years now. I am really excited about Cingular coming into our marketplace and in the end, competition is always good for the customers. I have a Cingular training upcoming on Tuesday, November 9th and I am really excited about the opportunity to sell Cingular. We currently carry Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Cricket. We used to carry NEXTEL and Sprint, but don't anymore for reasons that are too long to list. My question is for other Cingular dealers out there. What are the pros/cons of carrying Cingular ? Ho...

I just recieved my V551 today! It is very nice!! As stated before, the V551's are beging shipped before the V3's. I'll give you an update when I get a chance to play with it more. So long brandnew post-recall V600.
