i just got a flier in the mail about the new phones cingular is getting, they have the 6230 and the N-Gage QD. ive also heard there like getting 4 or 5 more in the fall.

i really want a phone from at&t but im with cingular. i was wondering if id be able to get that phone witht he merge going on and all...but if not then is cingular gettin any news phoneS?

Has anyone noticed how Verizon has the new moto V710 and the there has been a lot of talk about it but to me it seems the new nokias coming out for cingular attws 6230 and 6620 will blow the doors off this phone but there is not much excitment about them. When can I get one of these phones, i am assuming the 2nd week of August.

Just curious to see if all the other Cingular reps are having changes in commissions again?
I've been with cingular for 8 months now and they are changing commissions again for the second time!
This change is for the worse, just wanted to know if anyone else is getting less money now, or if it is just in my market??

I'm not looking to start another debate over who is the best because quite frankly, I think its getting old. All I would like to say is that I am ASSUMING all of the debate that is going on is because we all REALLY think that Cingular may have a good "go" at #1. I'm not going to decide who I think will be tops anymore because I really have no clue. This merger may have been the best or even the worst thing that Cingular has ever done. Either way we all know that Verizon and Cingular will both have phenomenal coverage. I don't really believe that the amount of subscribers either company has will affect which company people choose. Why don't we stop attacking each other and just accept the fact that people will choose what company is bes...

My store just received marketing packs for the Nokia 6010. When I looked it up here, the specs say that it's only available for T-Mobile. I'm an agent for Cingular in West Texas and I'm wondering if anyone knows when will Cingular start selling it?

I have been a Verizon customer for many years now but I am sick of the lack of phone choices. I just came across the V80 and if anyone knows whether Cingular will carry it or not please let me know, because if so... good bye Verizon, hello Cingular.

I am Verizon customer at the moment(that could change shortly) I'm interested in going to Cingular. Which of these phones (V400 or V600) is more reliable and gives the biggest bang for the buck?
I have heard on several forums where customers had to bring these phones several times before they one that worked right. Has Moto worked out their software problems? I have a friend who loves the V600, and hasn't had any problems with his.
And by the way, I live in Gainesville, florida zipcode 32614 area code(352). Can anyone tell me if there GSM coverage on NE 39th ave. 3 miles east of Waldo Rd.?
My Verizon service dies at that intersection.

Why is everyone constantly waging the "my company is better" battle? Where I live (no offense meant here) verizon service sucks but then so does sprint, t-mobile, and nextel the only service i have in my hometown is cingular and a bit of attws, where my parents live they only have cingular and a wee bit of verizon. So why doesn't everyone realize that all companys have good and bad and just be content in the fact that we all have jobs?

So, how many sales do you guys have already today? Lets see who is leading the pact. Also, guys lets be honest here.

The other day, I was visiting my brother's house, and my new T637 (Cingular) searches for network and comes back to tell me no network is available. My brother, on the other hand, with his Siemens phone (AT&T Service) shows that he had great signal. How come my phone did not pick up AT&T signal? Aren't they supposed to be using each other's networks now?

I looked through the menus to find the available networks. Menu->Connect->GSM Networks did not list anynetworks. (Siemens phone listed a bunch). When I came back to my house, where there is Cingular signal, GSM Networks still shows an empty page.

I stopped by Cingular store, and the guy claims that AT&T customers can roam on Cingular, but not the other way around in San Francisc...

I bought a Sony T637 on Friday to try out the service. No one I know has anything other than Verizon, but it had bluetooth. So I figured that I had a 14 day return policy, I could give it a shot.

Well, once he printed out my receipt, I noticed that there was also another stipulation at the bottom that said and less than 30 minutes of talk time. Ok, I can live with that too. It won't take me long to figure out if I like the service. But no where on Cingular's site or in their store do they mention that, except on the receipt.

Anyway, I used my wife's Verizon phone and my Cingular and drove around looking at places I would go and the coverage and the Verizon phone won (in Northern NJ). I used the phone a bit, but less than 30 minut...

After hemming and hawing and research all the Carriers, I went with the T637 and Cingular.

Im glad now that there are 'glitches" in the merger. As an 8 year ATT customer I cannot imagine the thought of having to stay on their skinny GSM network if the Cingular deal fails.

I took a last stand at Verizon but the reps totally turn me off with their scripted answers to logical questions. Two different fac stores gave me the SAME answers. Obviously corporate is telling them how to answer the difficult questions re...no BT phones and the wimpy extended services network. The old rigorous testing and EVDO 'soon" answers....oh yeah and JD Powers and consumer reports. One rep said Europe was going CDMA!!!

My grandpa went into a Cingular store in Monterey Bay yesterday to inquire about new service. He was talking to a Cingular rep when the manager's door creeked open. My grandpa looked into the slight door crack and saw a strange shaped head peeking out through the gloomly-lit office door. The eye on the strange shaped head caught my grandpa looking, and quickly slammed the door. My grandpa asked the Cingular red, "who is in that office?" the rep replied, "thats our manager, he doesn't like people very much"...The door cracked open again with the strange face glaring at my grandpa through the crack. My grandpa accidently dropped his pen on the floor and when he went down to pick it up, my grandpa caught a strange shape sprint across the store ...

Does Cingular plan to offer coverage on I-64 from Lexington, VA to Beckley, WV. It's about the only area that I travel that does not have coverage. Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know when Cingular is coming out with a new phone? I am looking for a new phone and I am looking at Samsurg P107 and LG L1200. I am leaning more toward the Samsurg but I heard Cingular is coming out with a new Samsurg phone 2nd Quarter of this year. Does anyone know of this rumor? If not does anyone know which one would be a better choice. I am open to ideas. 😳
