catstide need help still on transflash card
how do these 6in1 readers work do I download the drivers for it and then put my transflash card in it and then where do I go. I put the card in my phone first formatted it then what put in card reader. Something about motorola folders and stuff I see nothing at all this blows I feel stupid

Call Waiting and earpiece
I have call waiting service and use the 810 earpiece. When I get a call while I am already on another call and I tap the earpiece, I not only cannot access the new incoming call but I end up losing my original call. Am I doing something wrong?

I am selling my HS820. Its 1 week old. Decided to stay with 810. Make best offer by 10AM tomorrow

Hacking the Screen
Does anyone know how to get the 'Verizon Wireless" off of the Main Screen? I would also love to get rid of the date, but that's not as important to me. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it!

Low Battery Beep!!!
Does any one know how to turn off or silence the "Low Battery" beeping? It's driving me crazy! I tried turning off the reminder beeps and keypad tones. Any ideas?

NOTE: Currently, the Motorola V710 phone distributed in North America supports Mobile Phone Tools only through a USB cable connection. A solution to support Mobile Phone Tools over a Bluetooth connection should be available later this year.

outer display..pics
wtf is wrong with the outer display...if you set a picture id it only shows a small pic that takes up about 1/3 of the actual screen..what is the point of having a big outside LCD if u cant see anything on it?

Hey folks, check this out!!! Regarding display timeout vs. backlight....
Ok, so how does your phone operate? My backlight is set to 20 seconds and display timeout is set to 1 minute. However after 20 seconds of not touching keypad, the display just goes black! I can't see anything anymore unless i hit a key. Isn't it supposed to just dim or something? I tried playing with the display timeout settings, but no changes. Does anyone else have this same issue? Any thoughts? Thanks.

how to transfer files using the data cable?
Just got the usb data cable and verizon office kit.
XP recognizes the phone but I cannot browse it. I can get online through express network but I want to transfer pics and ringtones.
How do you do this? I didn't find the answer using mobile phone tools either...there doesn't seem to be an option for transferring anything other than phonebook entries...
Is there any other software out there that helps do this? or what am I not doing to get this working..?

complaints re: mobile web on v710
I'm not sure if this has been discussed already but I'm very disappointed in mobile web 2.0. Here are some of my complaints:
1. Yahoo Mail is so hard to get to. They offer you Hotmail and AOL...and like 8 other email services that I have NEVER heard of and yet they can't offer Yahoo mail as one of their options? It's ridiculous.
2. I use ESPN to check baseball scores when I'm not at home. I had the V60 before and it was great. Now that I have the V710, I've noticed that after I initially refresh the screen on the main ESPN Baseball Scoreboard, I'm not able to refresh it again! The scores just stay the same even if I navigate away from the page and try and reload the page. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a solution to this proble...

Hardware fix?
I know its a slim chance, but what if moto goes ahead with a h/w fix and there is a v710x and the orginal is discontinued?
Would we have to repurchase? trade-in? What if we had insurance and the orginal v710 isn't available anymore, would they give us a v710x?

GPS Feature Error
Here's a new topic .. the V710 GPS feature: I set the phone (settings, location) to GPS location on (instead of just for 911). When I go in to test mode there is a GPS screen ... I select start gps session & it displays "error" and a list of blank info... go to the satellite display and it shows zero.

HELP!!! i feel like im not using my phone to its full potential...
all i do with it is make calls and take pics and vids....but taking pics is basically boring and so is taking vids...
so all i really do is make calls...now can somebody remind me why this phone cost me like $350??? there has got to be some features i can use...
(i dont use bluetooth so dont even mention that)
so what else besides taking pics and vids and bluetooth is this phone good for???
when i get a tflash card will it be more useful?? thanks

When im playing basketball i can barely hear them.. The regular ringtons are MUCH MUCH louder than mp3's.. anyway to boost up the volume???
