Motorola V710

i just bought the transflash card with the adapter...do i need to buy a reader on in order to connect it to my comp?

Went to Verizon to inquire when I could new up. They told me all the chargers for the t720 will do damange to the v710 and wanted to sell me a new car charger and said not to use the t720 base charger till the new chargers are avail. Anyone else get that answer from VZ?

I got the Belkin adapter installed and use BT as my connection for MPT but it fails after a few seconds and cannot list the phone contacts. This is not a problem with a USB sync cable. Has anyone else seen this and is this consistent with the BT problems that are to be fixed by a firmware upgrade?

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the noise that is made in the headset while the phone is ringing is really, really soft. If there anyway to increase this ring level inside the headset?

I was ecstatic to buy the 710 from Verizon! I have a Palm Tungsten T3 (Bluetooth) and was anxious to pair hem and get started. Unfortunately, there's no driver written yet for the T3 so the two will work together. Has anyone heard if one is under development? Has anyone identified an existing driver that works. i just received my moto v710...and when i tried to store my contacts i realized that even thought the v710 is "supposed" to have multiple numbers per person it creates a new contact for each number...am i doing something wrong? when i entered the numbers i entered them under the same contact using the "MORE" feature. please help

Thats hot.. even though i have to press the voice button on the phone, i can do voice dial with my headphones/mic... amazing. i can even hear my mp3's in stereo.. this is hot.

Hope they can do something to Fix the camera ! It is horrible. My $49 camera on my computer takes better pictures. Not clear in the least. Don't know how they said it has the quality of a stand alone digital camera.

i just tried the speakerphone feature for the moto v710 the quality is great but it sounds like theres an echo..can someone please help me

I just got the FM radio accessory and it's amazing. So clear and loud!!! You can also set your preset for favorite station!!!

One cool feature that I didn't know it had was it doubles as a headset with a mic. One really really cool feature is that you can hit the button the mic and it does a voice recording without holding it down. You just press it record and press it again when your through recording. That is one feature that I really wanted on the 710. This phone can do so much!!! You just need to get the addition accessories to make it complete :-).

BTW the accessory # for the FM Stereo Radio Headset is 98310/SYN8609 for those who want to get one.

hey guys im looking foward to buying a transflash memory card so i can send over mp3s and what not... but i have a question. I see them for pretty decent prices online... now i see that it says that it has "Adapter included" does that mean that this is what i put into my pc to send over the mp3s and wallpapers and what not???.... from my research i see that the adapter looks much like the forma nd shape of a memory card for a digital camera which some computer now have slots for as does mine... so i wanna know if thats where they go and if thats what it does! thanks very much.... Oh and also... do all the transflash cards come with adapters? or only specially marked ones? Thanks again

I Just got the transflash.. and i popped it in.. i looked at the manual and it says to go to setting, PHONE STATUS, storage devices.. Phone status wtf??? Where is that.. anyway how do i find it on the phone? HELP

I have noticed when the phone is charging it makes a humming sound. Is this normal? Prior to the V710 I had a V60 and it never made a noise and I am concerned that something may be wrong with the charger or that it may be giving off unhealthy radio activity? May sound crazy but, please advise.

I can connect my computer to my V710, but what do I do to upload files and what directories do they go to?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I cant get the 710 to operate as an "object push server" for the purpose of syncing with my contacts ect... Does a fix exist? Am I missing something? Help...

Regarding your inquiry,currently the Motorola V710 phone distributed in North America does not support Mobile Phone Tools over a Bluetooth connection. A solution will be available by November 2004. Motorola has not identified any other issues for the time being.

As I said, I swapped phones today.

THe old one had a good keypad, the new one:

the * and # keys sound like they're hitting cellophane when you press them. The * key also presses the 7 key,but doesnt register the 7, and the # key presses the 9.

Level 2, if there is a new part, do the VZ shops do this, or is it a higher level(eg level 2)
