Voicemail

Quick question

How do I set up the voicemail number, so that when I call it via speed dial number 1, my pin gets automatically answered? I had it figured out on my old phone by inserting a pause in the number, but now that's not working.
Any help/suggestions?

application sources

I noticed notes here indicating that we should see more apps available via get it now in the near future. In the meantime, has anyone tried getting apps from something like Handango. Is BREW a software similar to Symbian? There were lots of apps for my Nokia. I am particularly interesting in a better address book.

Making ringer from something recorded on the phone

I finally found the ringer style, but if I record something directly onto the phone, it does not appear on the list of possible ringers. How do I move something I recorded to the ringer list? Or, how do I make something I recorded into a ringer?

Thx,
Joey

MOTOROLA has to release a software/firmware update to make ringers sound when BT Headset is on cause

I got my transflash card..which by the way is probably the best invention in cell phones yet.. my wallpapers look great on it.. but ringers. i have so many mp3's on it now but now i see no use for it because I have the HS820.. I like to use it all day.. so now my ringers are useless. it would be so cool to hear your phone ring(thru your phone, not the headset)while having the BT headset on.. PLEASE MOTOROLA.. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. i saw my friend had a nokia phone with the jabra 250 AND HIS PHONE RINGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Why are Nokia's ring tones so much better than v710's?

I didn't really have a problem with this until a friend showed me her $39 ATT Nokia 3120. The phone has so many excellent ring tones. Does anyone know if Nokia's ringtones can be found on the net?

Jabra vs HS520

OK all,

I'm a newbie, so be nice. . 😁

Just got the 710 - pretty happy with it. Looking for a BT Headphone - is the Jabra worth the additional $$? What does it offer that the one from Moto doesn't?

Thanks!

MP3 ringtones, do it yourself

Hi everybody
I like to "experiment" and I just got all my tools working fine, via test and trial.
This is my recipe for "MP3 ringtones, do it yourself"
1st: download "super MP3 recorder at http://www.supermp3recorder.com/download.htm
install it and find the rite params for yourself

2nd: goo to any site with "demo" ringtones (try http://www.audiolicense.net/sfx/subcats.asp?m aincat_id=1366
but really ANYTHING going through the sound card will do!)
start the recorder firts, play the demo sound on the web page... et voila', you just got your MP3 on your HD! The trick? the recorder "intercepts" anything being played and records it for you... cool isn't it?

P.S. the DEMO version of the recorder I got only records 30 secs... just make, ...
