Web Favorites input

Has anyone gotten this down well? It's obviously easy to do this through the 'add favorites' function, but what about bookmarking links that are four or five clicks deep?

Example: On Nextbus.com, I have bookmarked next bus, but I still have to browse 3 or four pages deeper to get to my bus stop. Same w/mail. I have to browse to my inbox.

I can use 'show URL' once there, but there's no copy text function from that screen. Surely there's a better way than typing the full (long, long) url into the 'add a favorite' box...

Help!!!?? 😢

To end questions about how to get your phone to SAY the names in the phonebook. LOOK HERE!!1

Go to menu, settings, personalize, sound settings.. Change phonebook to Voice..

Now to go ring styles and go to Keypad volume..Make sure that volume is up...

Finally make sure you Speakerphone is on..

Then just go to your phonebook and it will start saying the names as you scroll.

Trouble seeing display screen bright sunlight

I've had the phone for a week and so far I think it's a good phone.

The only problem I'm having is seeing the display in bright sunlight. I dind't have this problem with my last phone (LG non color screen). I've played with the brightness and contrast setting but it still like having no screen at all when out in the sun.

Am I missing someting in setting the screen properly or is this a common problem with color screen phones.

Quick Connect for PC Dial Out

Does anyone know the dial up networking configuration for the 14.4 Quick Connect setup? I believe that the phone number is #777, but I don't know the user name and password. Are there any other settings? Thanks in advance!

AOL IM -- do you think it will be available on v710

I was wondering if anyone out there had any idea if AOL IM is technically possible from v710. I imagine it is but I don't know much about how it is set up. I know it is not available on GIN yet. Just wondering if you think it will be coming.

Everything was fine until yesterday....

Recently, when I power off my phone, I notice that it freezes up right before the screen should go black. Also, when I power on my phone the intro animation freezes for a second or two.

Anyone else having this problem???

I love this phone but this is not cool at all. It should not be freezing up!

Anyone know if Verizon would need the entire packaging w/ the phone to swap it for a new V710??

Let me know, thanks!

Picture ID and TransFlash

This is sort of two questions.

First, do you have to store images and / or ringtones in the phone's main memory to be able to use them for phone number id entries? I tried to access a picture on the transflash via the "picture" field edit on a phone number entry and couldn't see it in the list of choices. When I moved it to the phone memory I could.

Next question.

What's the max size for the pictures in the picture id? I know the phone will scale a picture down, because that's what I'm doing currently. But, when I scroll through phone numbers and hit one with a picture, there's a delay...like it's taking the phone time to think about scaling the pic down. Or, could it just be that it takes a little while to load up the pictur...

HS820 Bluetooth Headset Problem

I'm having a problem with my Bluetooth headset. I program it to recognize my phone and it works fine until I turn it off. Then, when I turn it back on, I have to re-program it to get the phone to recognize it. How do I get the phone to recognize the headset without re-programming it each time? Thanks! 😕

Max OSX bluetooth

Just curious if the bluetooth will work with the v710?

I had one in my hands today but Radioshack wouldn't honor my early upgrade, they called verizon for me but they said that I can only go to a verizon store to get my early upgrade.
