I have read some threads that the Picture Called ID does not take up the entire screen. For those of you that have the phone, what do you think. Is it usable? Can you tell who is calling? Does it also show their name? Any other comments on PCID would be great.

site is up as of about 3:15pm. I was able to register mine and my girlfriend's V710s. I got the confirmation that I registered them. Unfortunately it does not state if I am of the first 710 registrants, but I doubt 710 can register within 10 minutes.

It said I will hear from them in 2 to 4 weeks.

I registered for both the headset and the speakerphone.

i'm assuming that there isn't a way to play back mp3's in stereo? seeing as how there aren't any stereo jacks on the phone.

OK, I am getting upset w/ VERIZON and RADIO SHACK.... I am going to give a huge "I AM SORRY' the the guy that said bring the phone back to RS.... OK I called RS on 7/30 was told they had a V710, I told them to hold it for me. Then I called Verizon and told them the situation, I knew that my buy back was on 9/11 but wanted to see if they could give it to me early on 7/30 and have RS give me the $100 off. Verizon lady said hold on I will check w/my supervisor. Came back and said "Because u have been such a great customer we will allow it" She said she was going to document my record and RS would be able to see that and give me $100.00 and that all I had to do was fill out new 2 yr contract at RS and I would get the discount. I will copy below the info I got off of moto tech's web site, I haven't sucessfully transferred any data, but I do feel I am making progress, MPT now has a V710 shell on my computer. I am using MPT 2.21e if that helps anyone.

Start by detecting the device through the BlueTooth neighborhood or 'My Bluetooth Places'.

Well I just picked up my v710 at Radio Shack today. I actually stopped at the Verizon Store just to check and see if they had them in yet. They didn't but that's ok because I had already called Radio Shack and reserved a phone there to pickup after work.

The good news is that the Verizon store actually knew what phone I was talking about for once (no dumb blank stares). I just can't believe that Radio Shack would have them first.

Regardless I have a ton of contacts in Outlook, but I don't really want ALL of them in my phone so I was going back and forth about buying PhoneTools or not. I also had read posts about people saying they were having problems with it.

just got a 128mb t-flash today from buy.com (mine came within 2 days,i know others have been having problems but they were very accurate with my order)...T-Flash is perfect for storing mp3's, sound quality is great but i am having a very difficult time trying to set my downloaded mp3s as ringtones...has anyone been able to do this? help would be greatly appreciated

Alright, so I finally got Mobile Phone Tools 2.0 to work. However, the only thing I can do with it is load the phonebook and calendar. Where is the multimedia option????? How do I transfer mp3s and videos and everything else that this phone is supposed to do??
