i know that it was probably mention earlier but i cannot find it. for those of you who already got the v710 when you record a video can you hear the sound too or is it just quiet?

where can i buy it? who know how much it cost>? if any one know... post a link... please.. this what i wanted... since sprint got so awsome phones...

i was looking comparing this phone to the lg vx-7000 on this site and it says that this phone doesnt have a usb...could anyone with the phone could confirm if it does or does not have it. thanks

According to inside sources, iSync 1.5 "could hit public download servers this week." The post is dated 7/26/04, so it could be out any day now. Or, it could all just be a load of crap.

Like all Verizon Wireless customers/Acura TL owners I have been patiently awaiting the release of this phone. Now that you RSers have the phone lets have a TL/v710 debrief. There have been posting by a couple of people annoucing successful pairs but lets list functionality.....which of the following if any work properly.....

1. Battery Life Indiction
2. Signal Strength Indication
3. Caller ID (with name recognition)
4. Call Transfers (To Phone/To Acura)
5. Phone Book Transfer
6. Phone Call Answers
7. Phone Call Dialing
8. Calls from the Navi (Send Function)

I have the following question. I have been looking to change to Verizon for about 3 months now. Been putting up with Nextel service for too long. And now waiting for the 710 for obvious reasons. My question to you all in this forum is Verizon's service all that it is cracked up to? I have done research and people seem to love it. So now I want to hear it from you all. I know there is a forum for verizon service, but I want to hear it from my 710 peeps.

So I found an RS with the phone, but I'm waiting for Verizon to fix something with my account and I couldn't buy as an upgrade, so I bought it full price to have it, but I need to return it tomorrow and rebuy it at the 1 year contract price. Is this "doable"?

Went my local VZW store (Nashville,TN) and they told me that the V710 won't launch until some time next week (8/10). I'm heading out of town tomorrow and would really like to pick up this phone before I leave. Any ideas? Thanks.

There are at least two threads in the past day dealing with dust accumulating UNDER the camera lens that apparently cannot be removed. To me and others who have posted in the other threads this is a true design defect and it concerns me.

The camera portion of the v710 is a distant second in importance to me after the DUN via bluetooth, however I fully intend to use the camera as the need/desire arises. If this is a true defect and not some mis-diagnoses by a few, I sure hope the Motorola Gods are monitoring these forums to see customer reactions and perhaps come-up with a solution or re-design or some sort of action.

I got the Mobile Phone tools with the Bluetooth adapter. I loaded all the software diid a live update. The vomputer see's the phone and is connected to it but when the picture of the Phone comes up on the Computer screen. The Screen says Initializing and does not find the phone. Help!

Yeah heard a bunch of v710 commercials on radio today (KROCK NY/NJ Metro). So I guess thats good news (for those that don't already have it). Its coming...

Does anyone else have little white scratches on the black part right above the lens. I noticed them and I am very, very careful with the phone. It might be from when you open it, the top rubs that part. Let me know if anyone else has this. Also does anyone know where to get a case for this phone. I do not think motorola or verizon has it yet. Where can I get it (not a generic). Thanks

HEY GUYS, I WAS REALLY DISAPOINTED WHEN I SAW MY V710 HAD CRAPPY IN DOOR QUALITY, BUT I WAS JUST SCREWING AROUND WITH IT, AND I TOOK A PIC INDOOR, AND SAVED IT, BUT WHEN I SAW IT AGAIN IT WAS MUCH CLEARER!!!!!!!!, IT LOOKED ALOT BETTET, IT DIDNT HAVE ANY OF THAT FUZY RED BLUE COLORS ON IT! PLEASE TELL ME IF URS IS LIKE THIS TO!

This may have been covered earlier, but was anyone ever able to get Mobile phone tools to connect via USB cable? I got further with it than I did with bluetooth, but no luch connecting.

How do i send pics, mp3s, and ringtons 2 my phone. my laptop is bluetooth is there a program that came with the phone i might have not have recieved? or can i buy a software?
