Motorola V710

Alright, I got Mobile Phone Tools 2.0 working, but I do not see any options to transfer any sort of multimedia such as pictures, videos, or mp3s onto the phone. Anyone know how this can be done?????

How do u enter your email account that is located on your pc by your V710? What accesories do i need and how do i do it?

I really need to know this so i can tell what accesories i need to buy. Thanks.

3rd floor of a 3 story office building that has a sprint repeater on the roof
HP nc6000 laptop
XP pro sp1
Cnet bandwidth benchmarks 331.2 kbps
Actual 20MB FTP File download from linksys.com averaged 12.7KB per second

Keep in mind Sprint uses Bytemobile compression so when using cnet bandwidth checker the readings are distorted. Sprint recompresses images to a lower file size on the fly. The CNET system calculates the time to transmit images to determine bandwidth.

Motorola v710 (4 bars signal) via bluetooth to a linksys USBt100 adapter

Same OS
Time was 30 minutes after the sprint test

i am having trouble getting a converted mp3 over to my phone. i changed it to .mid and tryed to email it to @vzwpix.com but it gets bounced back to my email adress and never gets through

I have been searching different sites for the TransFlash card. None mention the SD adapter, but I have read threads saying it came with it. Is it safe to say that all TF cards come with the adapter?

Everyone's saying "get your T-Flash cards at amazon.com" but they list the item as not available and you'd be pre-ordering. Yeah you could get it from office depot for like $45 bucks but for that matter why not just buy from buy.com for $38.

FYI:

I saw some messages where people thought you had to pay $80/mo for unlimited express (1x) 144k access.

Just have PDA/Smartphone internet added for $45, and use it all you want during the day. You won't burn up your peak minutes.

If you don't need internet during peak times then don't add any data plan. (this is per several Verizon data reps that I've spoken to)

I cannot get ringtone ripper to install. keeps telling me i need .net framework 1.1.4322. I already have 2.0 and it still wont install. anyone else have this problem

I called Motorola to ask them what they were going to do about the Bluetooth promotion since Radio Shack is selling the V710 almost two weeks ahead of Verizon Wireless. That, of course, gives the Radio Shack buyers a distinct advantage and the likelihood is that given a 2 week lead time and a national network of stores, the first 710 people will be Radio Shack purchasers.
Motorola sent me the following reply:

Not that it really matters much since you can get yours flashed anyway. Here is a post by Crtic os WirelessAdvisor. Very credible source for Verizon phones/issues. I wouldn't listen to anything else you hear.

here's his post directed at a person calling Moto and explaining about Bluetooth problems and a supposed pending software upgrade. But be warned a slight smackdown of phonescoop is included. LOL:

1) Word of this "issue" came from the forums at Phonescoop - which immediately cuts down its credibility.

On the external display of my v60 the time and date are always digitally displayed whether the phone is lit up or not. Is this the same case for the v710? I remember one thing I hated about the LG vx7000 was that the external screen would go black like the phone was off after so many moments and you would actually have to hit a button until it would turn back on.

I know these have been brought up, but not since people have gotten the phone. Is the external screen good at all? can you change the colors/picture, is the resolution ok? Thanks.
