How do you get rid of those preloaded images that take up like 30% of the space on the phone!? It is pissing the hell out of me

ok i was playing with the camera and finally made the pictures look the way they should. First, when in camera mode go to menu and picture setup. Change the resolution from medium (what it's preset at) to high. Also, the lighting conditions is set to auto, but auto doesnt work so well so if indoors, change it to indoors, and if nightime, change it to night. once you do this, the pictures look great! much better than the v600 or the vx6000.

I really dont get it. Look at each link. People said that you cant change the background, but the colors for the background. These backgrounds are different...

I'm not sure how to listen to an MP3. I'm sure it's been posted but I haven't been able to find it. Do I need a special headset or what? I don't actually have my own MP3s (I'm still waiting for my Transflash card and reader/writer) but I was trying to listen to the sample MP3s that came with it and I didn't hear anything. Could someone please let me know what I need to do? Also I'm having problems with sending my MP3 ringtone to my phone via [email protected]. I have used ringtone ripper and have converted it from .mp3 to .mid, then sent it from my email by attaching it and my phone hasn't received any of them. Has anyone heard or seen information concerning what the corporate discount is going to be through Verizon once the phone comes out?

If it has not been released, does anyone know what the typical discount is off of a new phone? My sister workd for BofA and is supposed to get a good discount but they will not release information to her.

I just got off the phone with Motorola Support and they confirmed that the V710 does not have OBEX and can not do data transmissions. Hence, no Mobile Phone Tools and no PDA connectivity. Motorola was aware of this problem and asked all vendors not to ship the product until the new firmware was released; however, Radio Shack seemed to have jumped the gun. This is why Verizon stores do not carry the V710.

What does this mean to Radio Shack bleeding edge users? You just can't use your Bluetooth for data connectivity until the firmware is released in "...about three weeks." Once released, we can either take our phone to an authorized Motorola repair shop or to a Verizon store and they w ...

same thing happened with my t720:

when i view my phonebook, sometimes my lists of contacts show up in a random order, in speed dial order when theyre suppose to be in alphabetical order, and sometimes they show all contacts when only primary contacts are suppose to be shown.

anyone else have these problems?

i REALLY hope the updated firmware solves this problem.

my 2 year contract is up - so at the end of that contract i get a 100 rebate towards my next phone

now if the phone is 320 with another 2 year contract which i would renew - would i get the 100 rebate and 70 rebate in addition

making the phone 150

or would i just get the 100 off and pay 220

Can someone confirm for me that this phone does NOT have voicenotes? And maybe a theory on why Moto would leave off a pretty useful feature (in my opinion, anyway)?
