Motorola V710

Does anybody buy that the v710's that verizon will launch will already have software updates, or does this seem unlikely?? 😕 If anybody out there knows get back at me.

The documention with both products seems to point the finger at the other for pairing. I can use it with the adaptor like a non-Bluetooth phone, but that's it.

is openwave the samething as mobile web 2.0 cuz my internet doesnt look like the mobile web 2.0 pictures

I just bout sum accessories for my v710 off ebay. Im gettin ready for the 11th!

I can't find what Bluetooth revision this phone is. The HS820 is version 1.2, and I assumed the v710 was also 1.2, although I can't confirm this in any written documentation. Does anybody know?

Someone needs to figure out how to make the earpiece louder..

Also, does the phone come with any transflash at all? I think I am going to wait the other 9 days to get the phone from VZW. But want to order this now so I can transfer MP3s, etc.

How long of a video can u take?

I had previously mentioned there was an issue putting MP3s onto the TransFlash card and playing them the past 2 weeks. That issue was my card reader, NOT the Moto File System.

It plays, you can make playlists and even watch movie trailers!

I bought this phone from Radioshack on friday and so far I love it.. Everything about the phone is great, however I have a wired issue. It looks like if I am not using the phone for a couple of mintues or so the external LCD goes into like a sleep mode where I have no display, but as soon as I hit a button, or receive a call or flip the phone then everything goes ok. I have double checked and have turned off the display time out to Off and basically maxed out anything to do with power related stuff on the menus and I having this issue. I called Moto and they walked me through of a master reset and that did not fix the issue, so they said that I need to take the phone back, but I just know the phone is ok and there must be a settin...

is there a setting on the phone that if you want to take a picture of yourself you can turn the phone around and see yourself on the external display?

Is it still safe to assume that no one can get the Bluetooth to sync with their computer? I seem to be able to get the adapter to work, but Mobile phone tools 2.21e won't work.

Has anyone noticed that when you use the Bluetooth headset (820 in my case) you can speak the command "CAMERA" and the ohone will open the camera mode and you can take a picture. The only thing is I only seem to be able to take the picture manually by pressing the button on the phone.

Is there a voice command to snap the picture? Like "Take Picture" etc. I would love to be able to do this. Would make a great spy cam. just hide the phone in the Girls locker room and remotely take pics! LOL!!!!

are there any free ringtone services like 2 g for free for verizon customers? i tried fotobin last night and i couldnt find any audio ringtones.

For those who have the phone, how long has your battery been lasting? It doesn't seem to last very long for me. If I use it throughout the day I'm recharging that night. This is my first color phone, so I have nothing to compare too. Thanks.

Pretty stupid question, but when you get the phone there are pictures taking up about 30 percent of the space, and i can't find how to delete them.
Anyone know how?

on the phone i currently have i can make and or record my own ringtones by sending myself a pix message with just the sound attachment. will i be able to do that with this phone?

Ok, I am one of the fortunate ones. I managed to buy the V710 this weekend at RadioShack. I also purchased the HS820 headset for it. Just a few impressions and lessons learned - hopefully helping others avoid the 35 minute call to Motorola.First, the phone is great and I think it was definitely worth the wait - I was waiting to switch carriers and this phone was my milestone. The HS820 is awesome, however, the directions for setting up the phone with the headset are wrong. Hold the button down until you get a solid blue light. The directions say wait for a flashing blue light. This caused me to return two Headsets before the 35 minute call (most of it wait time) to Motorola.Additionally, if you owen Mobile PhoneTools it will not work ...
