Motorola V710

This may seem insignificant, but I found it today. Go to the "phones" section of the verizon wireless site in the 99999 zip code and hit view source. Hit Control-F and type "v710" and in the META tag you will see that it says motorola v710, motorola t730. Not much of a difference, but when I was syncoronizing my offline files today, it noticed that that line had changed in the VZW phones section. 😁

been seeing this in posts all over the place. what da hell does IMO mean? 😳

both phones are coming out at the same time (more or less). i'm really torn over which one to get. what do you think...........

I know this isn't the v7000 forum but, the vx7000 is 179.99 plus 70.00 rebate which makes phone 109.99 in my zip code 27105. All samsung phones are bogo.

By reading this info. from our infomanager, I realized that the 7v10 wont be out by 07/01/04. That makes us think of the 6th, 18th etc. Just trying to consolidate release dates dates 😛

😢 I just took a look at Info manager and it just got updated. The phone that was just added to the list of coming soon (within the next couple of days) is the Palmone Treo 600. We have several sections of our equipment guide in info manager. One side is the WDTS side and the other is the customer service side. Throughout my years of experience working with VZW, I've noticed that once we place a phone on the CS side as coming soon, it will be out within a couple days or even a week. It will be on the WDTS side way before release date. Therefore, once it hits CS SIDE, that means its really going to be out sooner then soon. So far the V710 is not on the CS side. Just a little inside scoop 😉

I am currently switching from sprint to verizon. I am going to switch in approx. 2 weeks. Is this phone going to be available to me by then? I dont really like any of the phones verizon has and i dont want to get stuck with a crappy one, and i dont want to pay a butt load for a good phone later.

Not that we didn't think this was gonna happen, just saying, that it did.

In case people didn't know, if you go to http://www.wirelessimports.com/ProductCatalog .asp you can buy many new phones months before they are released. They are a little pricey but there is a wide selection of many phones that I have not even heard of yet.

i played with a v810 recently. in the past been about 4-8 weeks after team leaders test phones that they actaully show up in stores or we get concrete dates on their release. well i post this here b/c to my knowledge no one in our center has been given a 710 yet.
so it May have not reached that stage yet, but video messaging will debut 7/1 actaully we already have the feature codes thye showed up monday or tuesday, and the 7000 is in the wharehouses i will repost if i get any more info

Does the v710 allow you to store people's mailing addresses?

All 3 said they are understanding the phone should be available within in one week here. All 3 stores told me the same thing on the phone just now.

Ok...I personally think this phone is coming out by July 1st or 6th. Simply because some stores are not informed about a product release does not mean that it won't come out anytime soon...My point is that for the longest time, the V710 has been kept behind closed doors. Now however, there are ads, sales, clearences, and rebates...Last time I checked, this means something new is coming... 😉 Secondly, the fact that Moto moved the exoiration date of their BT offer back is in no way a bad sign...Because of the phone's popular demand, there is obviously going to be a back order and only a few people will be able to get the phone...By moving the date back, Moto gives themselves and consumers time...Customers have a better chance of getting...

I too can make a handle and say that I work for Verizon. But, I don't (obviously)..and i don't have any definite information, just like everyone else on this forum with a VZW name!

Anyone have any thoughts or info on what the v710 price point may be through Verizon ?

If the v600 can be had with contract and incentives thru AT&T Wireless for $299, should the v710 be in that neighborhood, or north of that price ?
