I'm curious if anyone has called/emailed Motorola lately to see what their estimated release is? I haven't been on top of the phone for the past few weeks, so I don't know what todays estimated release date is.

Also - for those of you familiar with blue tooth, I recently went out and purchased a $250 blue tooth keyboard/mouse combo. I'm wondering what the benefits of this are with the upcoming phone, if any? I'm assuming I'll be able to easily tranfer photos and videos. I'm trying to prep for bluetooth. Unfortunatly, that's the only bluetooth device I have and I'm not sure if I'll be getting any more, as I really don't have the use for a bluetooth PDA. What about bluetooth printers? I'm looking into a nice color lase...

I contacted ebay security division about the v710 item number 4021603871 and also advised the hijacker that I was doing so. Well what do you know, now there is no listing and if you type in a search for that item number, it doesn't come up. There were 5 bidders though, I hope noone on this forum fell for the scam. If someone has, maybe getting this person off of ebay will save someone else from making the mistake of sending money overseas through Western Union. FYI

I thought that the verizon infomanager was updating today and could possibly have the v710 on it. I have called some verizon stores in my area and they don't even know what i'm talking about. If anyone works for verizon or could shed some light on this issue that would be great. Most of the verizon stores I call wont even answer their phones unless I constantly call back, and then when I ask about the 710 they automatically say they know nothing. Am I just crazy or is their such thing as an infomanager at verizon and if so, was that suppossed to update today or what????

I was curious 2 see if there were any 710's on E-bay, there were a whole bunch 4 sale. The problem is they were all scams. All of the phones that were pictured were from pictures posted on this page. There was one guy selling the 710 under differant accounts. This is so crazy that so many people are trying to pull so many scams.

My last message was retarded but this is for real. Lets face it if u r gonna talk about the LG 7000 go to its forum not this one. Motorola fans want to read about moto phones and learn about them. I personally dont like LG phones and im not the only one. 🙂

If this phone isn't out by July 9th I will be looking at other phones and maybe a different provider. I have a feeling I'm not the only one that feels this way. This is getting stupid. If the price of this phone is over $249 after the rebate then the waiting was done in vain.

Has the infomanager been updated yet? Does it show anything cool?

our business account executive from vz said they have a 710 demo in the store and have received some training with more to come on video messaging scheduled training is 7.15.04

I'm not being an as* here, i seriously want to know. Why is bluetooth so special, what would i use it for?? I could care less about a headset, i don't like using them in the first place. So what other legitimate reason is there for bluetooth??

I'm asking this because the 7000 is out, and if i can find a good reason to wait for this phone that has bluetooth capabilities, i will. Otherwise, why not just go with the 7000??

Anyone out there know of a source for a driver to set up bluetooth between the V710 and a Palm Tungston T3. Palm doesn't have the V710 listed as a supported phone yet.

If you go to www.maximonline.com, there are banner ads for the moto v710. Could this mean the release date is coming soon? A company would only advertise if a product was close to launch. What does everyone think?

Just ordered 10 7750 Blackberrys and will be ordering 10 more each month for the next 3 months. I recommended that my company standardize on the V710 for all outside sales and service personnel due to the bluetooth/handfree feature.

Could have waited longer....but not knowing if or when the V710 is going to be released. We had to pull the trigger. To bad for Motorola.

Considering the sales going on at VZW now, I honestly think that the release date for V710 is very near. So, let's all calm down, patience is a virtue. 🙂

It is a MOTOROLA! It is like getting excited for a FORD! It is a piece of crap phone made just like all of there other phones! Get two tin cans and a piece of string and that will work better for you!
