Motorola V710

i cant get the hone on three way i got no hold option whatsoever or link? any help?

This question was asked quite a while back but was never really answered - There is a microswitch at the base of the antenna guide that is depressed when the antenna is fully retracted into the phone. You can see it if you take off the battery door.
Since I just put a stubby antenna on my 710, and this switch is no longer capable of being depressed, I am wondering what it does?

I just got the V710 from Verizon - I am annoyed that they have disabled Bluetooth - it was one of the attributes I bought the phone for. I run on the latest Mac software - does anyone know if I can still transfer photos to my computer via the Transflah card - before I go out and buy one - or has this, too been restricted by my pals at Verizon.

how do i get mp3 on to my phone? do i need to buy sumthing?how i do i transfer them?

Has anyone heard anything about a flash yet coming from verizon....?

I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Bluetrek G2 bluetooth head set. I read the reviews and said it was really good but just anted to make sure it was going to work with the verizon v710....(they said it would work with a normal V710....but a Verizon V710?????) thanks...

I am having a problem with my usb cable that i purchased off ebay. When i hook the cable up to my phone it says its initializing but nothing ever happens, this is with mpt. Is there something that i am supposed to do before this or what?

Can you use real to download your mp3's onto a flash card and be able to listen to it on the v710 sucessfully???? i downloaded a song to test it out but it was corrupt...at the end of the song i also put it as .mp3...am i doing this correctly???

i did everything like formatting the flash card and also turning phone on/off when i am suppose to...also ejected the flash card when computer said i was allowed to so the card didnt get messed up....

i think i have everything downpat but the ending of the song (.mp3?) confuses me...if someone could reply back and tell me how i am suppose to set up the files on the mp3 player that would be great...thanks!!!

I just bought the Transflash card, but noticed that whenever I transfer something to the card (pictures and mp3's) that they aren't available for caller ID and ringtones, respectively.

I also noticed that you can move the pictures between the phone and the transflash, but once you move an mp3 from the phone to the transflash you can't move it back.

Anyone else experience the same thing?

Any resolutions?

On the v710's from us cellular, (i think they started selling in early december), Do they have the newest flash and fixed camera lens?

Also, what restrictions if any are on them?

When I download mp3s to the TF and try to play them on the v710, it sounds like a skipping record.

Also, I can't move the mp3s over to the phone to be used as ringer id.

Does anyone have a solution for either of these problems..??

Can anyone tell me whether or not software upgrades to the phone fix this issue? I am interested in the phone but have read a few comments on this phone crashing.

New to this forum, so sorry in advance if this question has been answered in the past! I used to be able to change the voicemail callback number (on my old T720) to include a "wait" and then send my password when prompted; that is, xxxxxxxxxxw{password}. This stopped working a few months back, and now doesn't work either on my new V710 -- if I call voicemail from the vmail prompt I have to fatfinger in the password. I can still put the callback number with password into a memory location (e.g. speed dial 1), and that works great, but I have to get out of the voicemail prompt menu to do that. Irritating. It is hard to understand why Verizon changed its software (I'm assuming it did) to force a *86 callback or something similar no matter what ...
