NEW SOFTWARE
i finally got pst to work and installed the new software. overall the new software works well, but i noticed two not so great things.
1. when trying to master reset / clear the phone, upon rebooting the phone freezes with a completely white screen. to fix you have to power down and restart phone. and 2. i began the flash with a completely charged battery. i then messed around with the phone settings. and then bonded the phone with my vehicle. i placed about 5 "test" calls in all. with this whole process taking about 30 minutes. now the phone's battery is dead and is being charged. i've heard of the possibility of decreased battery life when operating the new software, but would like to know, of those who have flashed their phone, what ar...

Trans Flash problems...
I just figured out how to put mp3 song onto my v710 with the trans flash card. Full songs are to long for ringtones so i edited them with Wavpad to shorten them. Thet play fine on my computer but when i put them on my phone they are all like ehh... ehh... eh... and messed up. Any ideas cause im out.

Sex and the City theme ring tone
I would like to use a Sex and the City Theme ringtone on my V710 from Verizon. Does anyone know how to do this. I have mobile phone tools, but of course multimedia is disabled by Verizon. Get it Now does not have it now. Any suggestions? Can I download an mp3 and transfer that without a transflash card/ Any help is appreciated. I think it is a poor business decision by Verizon to treat their high end customers like this. How many people buy mobile phone tools? Surely they make enough money off the rest of their customers.

Bluetooth M850 headset
I have a v710 and a hp3900 pocket pc with bluetooth. Is the 850 or 810 headset compatible wtih both? Should I take back my 820 for either of these. Verizon has neither. I have until THursday to take it back.

play mp3 while phone is in closed position with motorola stereo headset.
I purchased the motorola stereo headset and i can only listenb to mp3's while the phone is open. This is worthless since i need to stash the phone while i excercise, but i have to keep it open. Verizon has no idea how to do this and motorola says call verizon so can anyone here help.

PROBLEMS WITH PST 7.1.1
AFTER EXTRACTING AND INSTALLING PST 7.1.1 IS ANYONE ELSE GETTING ERROR MESSAGES THAT INCLUDE:
Q814560 - SETUP HAS DETECTED THAT THE SERVICE PACK VERSION OF THE SYSTEM INSTALLED IS NEWER THAN THE UPDATE YOU ARE APPLYING TO IT. YOU CAN ONLY INSTALL THIS UPDATE ON A COMPUTER WITH NO SERVICE PACKS INSTALLED.

No difference in picture quality between low, medium, high. Only in size difference?
I just took a pic of something with medium and high resolution.. and both pics are EXACT quality.. Only difference is when i see them on my computer then obviously there is a size difference..But on the phone i see NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL. this is stupid...

WebJal Like Programs
Are there any Webjal/MyJal like programs for the V710 similar to that of the Nextel i860 that can be used with a data cable. My father has the i860 and I was watching him put all of these ringers and wallpapers and games on his phone last night, and to be quite honest I was kind of jealous and tired of paying .25 each time I wanted to send myself a ringer.(Im cheap I guess)
