Ridiculous offers

How do you download free ringtones, and wallpapers? Also What bout voice ringers? Would I use the MP3's? My last phone was the LG VX6000. I went to getitnow and downloaded voice ringers!

I finally got a pair of stereo headphones for my v710, but now the problem is I can only fit one cd on my 128MB card at a time. Are there any good (free?) programs that can cut my 192 kb/s quality files into say 96 kb/s quality so I can fit more on my card?

No, this is not off-topic: not that we V710 users didn't already know this, but I had a chance to test/use a Moto Razr this weekend with FULL bluetooth capability and it is amazing! It's so awesome to be able to browse the phone's folders, transfer files, etc... The powers that be at Verizon are too shortsighted and greedy to understand that fully opening the phone's BT is NOT a danger to their precious bottom line. After all, given the number of customers with BT versus those without, the earnings potential has to be infinitesimal. Idiots!

I have noticed that I am getting scratches on the outside of the flip, above the camera. I know I have seen other people with this same problem - has anyone resolved this issue via replacement of the phone, or any other means. I called Moto and they recommended that I shi[ it back to them for repair. If I can get it switched at a Verizon dealer - I would rather do that. I just wanted to know if anyone has returned their phone for a new one due to this problem and if they gave you any crap - being that I am now past my 15 days.... help please

I am selling my v710. I just recently cancelled my service with Verizon and went with a different carrier. I had the phone for about a month and a half. Anybody want a v710? Just reply or email me some offers: [email protected]

Hey, I called customer service yesterday complaining about how there was no info on when the stores were going to have them again. The lady told me that they now had them in stock and she could send me one and I would have it by friday. I called today to make sure they sent it and they gave me the tracking number and when I checked it it showed that my wife signed for it today at 1:15 pm michigan time. 😲 they sent it standard overnight. And the best part is today is my birthday. Now if I get home and the camera is fixed and it has the new software then this will be a great birthday for me! I will keep you all posted!

I am looking for bluetooth headunit to install in my wifes Jeep for XMAS. Does anyone know if any company makes such a product where you can receive an incoming call onto the cars stereo/speakers?

A friend of mine went into the Verizon Store to complain about their phone and they were told that the phone is being recalled....one reason is because of the camera....

You should check this out. We are staying tuned.

I have mpt 3.11 and have synced the phone with my oulook all is set up fine. (usb of course) i was reading in the instructions that you could exchange pictures and ring tones usint the media center but there is no button on mpt for this feature. is it just unavailable for the 710 or is there something i need to do to use the media center

I just ordered two V710's and wanted to take a look at the manual before they arrived. I couldn't locate one on Motorola's web page or doing a Google search. Anyone have a link?

I went to my local Verizon Store yesterday evening and told the techs that I had a tilted lens problem. He didn't say much, he just brought out a sales girl from the back and she handled the swap. They did a phonebook swap on the phones and put in a new battery and back cover. GREAT! I tought was was getting me a new phone since the old one had sratches all over it.

I get home and notice that I have lost all the ringtones, and pictures I had taken with the previous V710. No problem, I emailed myself the ringtones again. I looked at the Time meter and it only had about a 00:01:32 (probably when the sales rep dialed *22😎 So I'm assuming its a brand new phone and not an FRU. Well I decide to try out the camera and its even worse tha...

I was told that Verizon and other vendors have pulled this phone due to quality issues. They have told me that the newest batch will correct alot of the failures of the initial release. Has anyone had the chance to check on this and maybe own one of these second batch V710's? Let me know, I'm stuck at buying a VX-8000 (when they come out) or the Audiovox 9900. thanks!

as I was storing a phone number the entire lcd went blank, yet the keypad stayed lit. The phone wouldnt respond or power off. I tried to get the battery cover off but for some reason I couldnt but then I got someone else to do it removed the battery, put it back powered it on and now it works.
