Motorola V710

I went into my local Verizon store and asked if they had got the new V710's in yet with the fixed camera. They told me that they had hust received an email saying that the new ones were being shipped to the distrbution centers and should be shipped to the stores sometime next week (Friday). At least it sounds like the ball is rolling and things are getting done.

Which would you guys recommend as far as backing up your contact lists, Motorolas Phone tools, or Verizons Mobile Office?

Has anyone experience dropping calls constantly while the signal strength shows full?

1) has anyone got corrupted pictures from their phone after putting it on the tf from their computer?
2) What kinda video files work with the phone (and where do i put them) on the tf ?

Has anyone been experiencing the problem of corrupt files and folders? Specifically when I put my transflash into the adapter, then into the card reader. In explorer I see the card and all the folders. On the root is the pictures I took with the phone, and when i view them on the pc most of the time they are unreadable and just show nothing. The ones that are readable only display the top half of the picture. The bottom half is a blackish gray color. I have tried at different camera resolutions which all result in the same failure.

Also I noted that when I am browsing the card, the motorola\shared\audio folder has some unicode looking characters as folder and file names. And I cannot access these folders or files. I formatted the ...

Does anybody know what a start up cost would be to start a new telephone company from the ground up would be. And how you would need to finance it. Im doing this for this project for school. i just started working for vzw i am abou to get a phone which one is better. I know all the specs but dont have the expierence, help me out

So 2x now ive transferred pictures from my comp to the tf to the phone using a mac running the necessary tools, and it appears as if 10-20 of the 30 pictures i transferred are corrupt or dont work, and ideas how to solve that? its weird sometimes...

Do the new V710s have the move feature from the TF card to the phone. Also, I was trying to move a 30sec mp3 from the TF card and it says "move failed." Any ideas...thanks in advance. 🙂

I got my V710 the second week they were out, it's not abused at all, today while talking on it I felt something hit my hand, It was the outer lens ring!! nice!! ( never been dropped) btw, the lens seems to be in crooked, like something is pulling one side of it down in the phone, I glued the ring back on 2hrs ago, Also, the camera seems to be locking up when I go into that function, the only way out it to turn the phone off and then back on, I hate the picture quality but I like the phone.

for my area, the 710 is back on the site to purchase !!!!

I'm talking to a guy right now, who had a "friend" that worked a Moto, basically gave him an unbranded v710. I tried asking him about OBEX and BT features, but he has no idea what I'm tlkaing about, he just thinks it a cool phone.

I told him I'd trade him his for mine and give him a few bucks, but he said no...

My next option is that if this update doesn't have what we're all looking for.. contacting moto and seeing if i can get an unbranded phone. I gave him my email address and he's going to find out if he can get them, what the price is, and how many he can get...
