Anyone know where I can find just the case for the HS810 headset? I got my headset new off of ebay for $49.99 but it didnt come with the case. Ive already checked ebay. If anyone has one that their not using Ill but it from them. 😳

Alright yall what the crap is going on with this blue tooth thing on this phone...I have not had the time to get on this forum in several months to check this out so this is all new to me....please fill me in on what the deal is and what I need to do...

I called customer service today and the lady told me that at this time u can not get the phone any where in the united states untill its fixed. I asked her abt my phone and she said if ur having a prob with ur phone give it to technical support and they will give u a new phone and i asked her if it had the same prob with the blue streaks when i take a pic what to do then and she said if u want u can get a new diff phone that is equal to the V710 phone and i asked her abt the LG 8000 and she put a note on my account saying if im not happy with a new V710 phone I can get a LG 8000 for free!! I thought that was nice of them since I paid 519.00 for this phone! so if u guys do get the new version of this phone and are not satisfied with it u can ...

Today I got the straight scoop from a Verizon tech. Since we have all been led to believe that this Bluetooth problem was going to be corrected with new firmware, and now it is not, Verizon will still give a full refund on the phone right now. My store confirmed this.

If you buy an unbranded tri-mode, CDMA V710 direct from Motorola, Verizon will put that phone on their network now and support it. I have not yet researched the cost implications, but was assured that all of the Bluetooth functionality will be there, except for the "insurance option" for accidental damage.

Didn't somebody post a link where the unbranded phone can be purchased.

DAMMMMMNNNN can we get that loud beeping noise off? gosh its killin me in class...

I always have had a suspicion that they purposely used that soft plastic on the front of the phone to make the phone easier to scratch so that when your 10 months, or 22 is up, you go get a phone cause the one you have looks like crap.

Well unfortunately for VZW, the phones started looking like crap 2 weeks after you bought it. Now they have to exchange all these phones because of the camera, and they can't use have these phones without replacing the covers. Way to plan ahead!

Does anybody know of hidden menus in the V710 where you can turn the phone to digital only. I know they are there in LG phones, but what about Moto. And if there are, how do you get to them and what is the password, if one is needed?

Hey guys I just got the Motorola HS810 bluetooth headset in the mail from ebay. It didnt come with any instructions so how do I pair it with the phone? 😳

I was trying to order my V710 and the order didn't show up on my account so I called Verizon and they said the phone is put on hold because the camera was installed incorrectly so the pictures were crooked. They didn't know how long it would take to fix the problem. Until they do, they are not shipping any more.

Well, I got my replacement v710 and Verizon transferred my numbers for me, no problem. However, the speed dial "1" ( i.e. Voice Mail ) was replaced with my first phone number. So, when I would hit 1, for voicemail, my wife would come up. Fine. I went and changed my wife's speed dial to a different number. OK. But now, when I hit 1, I get "Empty". Where is the setting for Voice Mail speed dial? I found the actual voice mail number setting, but not the speed dial?

I hope this can be resolved with me just be stupid, and not another trip back to VZW.

I was looking through the verizon wireless and they have removed the Motorola v710 completely all they sell are the accessories, but no phone. Does anyone know what's goin on?

Abotu 5 min ago, someone in the NE area called about the 710 recall. Wouldn't give me any info, but i could see the account pulled up and he had the 710. said he's having problems, and heard of a recall. I explained exactly what i've let you guys know, and asked him how he heard that it was a recall, asked him if he read in on a website, (here or hofo) and he said no...

Just kinda funny.... If it was one of ya'll, let me know...

Verizon Wireless has identified an issue with a limited number of Motorola V710 cameras that are not mounted to specifications. This can result in a photo where the object appears noticeably crooked or tilted. This issue does not affect all V710s.

A resolution is under development and will be communicated shortly. Until then, stores are to screen all V710 inventory.

Incremental V710 FRU with good cameras is expected into the Distribution Centers the week of 10/29/04. The boxes will have a “Blue Avery Dot” to indicate a good camera


To find out if the phone is correct...


1. Power up handset
2. Align camera with a straight object in the store such as a door frame
3. Take photo

WITH ALL THESE PROBLEMS THAT THE V710 IS HAVING(ALL THOUGHT MINOR) IS THE PHONE WORTH PURCHASING ? 😕 😕 😕 😕

I got this phone before but I had to return it because ear piece was so low. I could not hear anything (no, I did not have any hearing problem). So after a while, I just wonder if there is any new firmware/software for this phone. Is the ear piece loud now? I would love to buy this phone again if it's loud. I wanna to have bluetooth phone with Verizon Wireless because Verizon wireless is the best network, more reliable and signal is more stronger than any other wireless carriers
