Since you own the Audiovox 9900 I have a question for you. Can you force analog roam on the 9900?

Will other carriers follow the Bluetooth crippling trend? Is VZW pushing the envelope? It'd be terrible if this would happen, (all carriers being greedy) I'm seriously thinking about switching to another carrier, I'm disappointed on the way VZW do business.

Ok, so I do see a lot of negative reviews on this phone, but I am still consdering buying it. Bluetooth is a no big deal at all for me, hell ill never use it probably anyway. All I want to know about is this:

1. Picture, Video quality
2. When the phone is closed, can you take a picture using the outer display screen to see what your taking a picture of?
3. Speakerphone quality, and reception quality
4. can you use the mp3's you download as ringers?
5. Ive heard stories about the keypad being shifty, and the hinge that you use to flip the phone open and closed to be defective, as well as the outer casing of the phone being very scrath prone, is this true?

How do i connect to internet with my G5 (mac) using the V710 as a wireless modem via bluetooth...ne help is greatly appreciated.

Well, two days ago, my v710 fell into a puddle outside and I didn't relaize it fell off my belt until about an hour later. It will still turn on and all the startup / menu sounds are right, but the display is completely fried...black.

For once in my life, I actually opted for the insurance on this thing and I will get it replaced for only $50 deductible. But, of course, the insurance company is back ordered on them so it will probably at least be a week.

I've got two questions:

I was holding out on buying the cable to sync contacts / numbers until the firmware upgrade came out, in hopes I could sync via BT. But, I'd like to be able to put my old stuff into the new phone when it arrives. My question is, if I get the cable, will I ...

hey UNTOUCHABLE! How the heck can you sit here and try to support and defend the V710 as being better than the 9900 when in fact Verizon and Moto can't even support the product! Woah!!!!!!!!! 🤣

How can one differentiate between an incoming call and/or a new text message? The beeps sound the same... How can I silence the text alert without actually having to dig the phone out? Kinda annoying. 🙂 As usual, the manuals are of no help. 🙂

Is anyone else here using yahoo mobile e-mail on your V710 browser.

I have the mobile.yahoo link, can log on(but have to do this every time now)
They seemed to change the mail interface, adding a little box that says "pick" if you want to select mail to delete or batch.

But I just can't open an individual message.
You're supposed to hit the right soft key (READ)..but nothing happens. The key functions normally in other wap applications.

Also, YAHOO is causing my phone to go black often.

There's nowhere to go at all within Yahoo to ask a question or for tech help as far as my eyes can see.

I was browsing ebay and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. It says it will work with the v710, but I thought that feature was crippled in the bluetooth of the phone? 😳

And here you all thought I was going to say get your hands around my 9900 LOL I am sure you rather get your hands around my neck right now but hey, at least i will have a properly working 9900 phone to call for help after-wards! 🤣

When someone calls me and I want to answer the call in speakerphone, is there anyway to easily turn the speakerphone on and answer the call? Right now if speakerphone is not turned on before the call, in order to answer it you need to hit answer and then hold down the spearkphone button, and it seems like it takes an exceptionally long time, I was just wondering if anyone discovered an easier way. Thanks.
