Desktop Speaker Phone Options

Hey all. I just ordered a desktop charger with spare battery charger, so I can make my desk alittle cleaner. It got me thinking about a speakerphone system (BT Style). That I could put next to the keyboard area so I could do calls without finding the phone. What options do I have? Would the HF850 or HF820 work? I havent seen them in person, but assume they are battery powered? I thought I remembered seeing a conference style thing back when I got my V710, but dont see anything on it now.

Who else makes something that could work? I was told making it work through my laptop wasnt an option, nor PDA. I use a headset (HS820) at times, but like using speaker phone for quick calls.

Thanks
Matt

Unexplained Happening

This has happened to me three times over the course of the last month. Maybe someone can explain. I left a voice message for someone on their verizon pnone. About 2-3 weeks later I get a beep on my phone that I have a voice message. When I play the message it is my voice leaving the original message for the person I called 2-3 weeks ago. Anybody know why this is happening? Thanks.

E815 disabled EVDO setting and two months later it switched back.

two months ago i switched my E815 from the auto to CDMA setting so the EVDO won't drain my battery. I noticed yesterday that it was switching between 1X and EVDO. I checked the setting and it was back to the auto. Did any else have this problem? Just wondering. Thanks.

Bluetooth Connection

I easily connected my Motorola 810 headphone to the phone at first, but noticed it didn't work any more, so I tried to connect again and when it searches for devices, 0 devices is found. The headphone is right next to the phone and the first time it was done I noticed it also picked up my computer.
Anyone know why its not finding any connection devices now?

V-Cast??????

Can someone tell me if you have the v-cast package on your monthly bill, then that means you can search get it now, mobile web, and watch v-cast clips, for unlimited amount of time correct? I ask the techs in the store and they said this is correct, no matter what time of day, you can use these services for ever and they will not pull out of your minutes. Then I called tech support, and they said only after 9 and on the weekends. If I use it during peak time it will pull from my minutes. Can someone tell me the truth please!!!!!

E815 extended battery charging times

I previously upgraded from the V710 also with the extended life battery. The extended life battery charging inside the V710 took 5 hours to fully charge a depleted battery. The extended life battery charging inside the E815 only took 2 and 1/2 hours to charge a depleted battery. Is this normal? Are there improved charging systems in the E815?

Can you use toolkit to sync Outlook on Verizon?

Am still trying to decide between the 815 and LG 8100. My agent says that Verizon does not support the Motorola Mobile Took Kit sync with Outlook's calendar. Is that possible, if all I want is computer sync, and not live via the phone from elsewhere? Or do I not understand the whole concept.......
Thanks!

RE: e815 Review

I would just like to point out that the Openwave browser will allow access to any URL that does not have many frames or javascripst and sometimes has trouble with secure pages. However, I regularly check websites such as phonescoop, slickdeals, engadget, etc from these VCAST phones and the speeds are impressive. This is accessed by using the search feature at the top of the browser and selecting "Go to URL."
Also, the VCAST menus have been very slow on all VCAST phones up to and including the e815 and LG 8100. However, this has been significantly improved with the LG 9800 and makes the use of this application much more convenient.
I don't mean to be overly critical as I certainly enjoy these reviews. However, I miss the discussio...
