Does anyone know how to transfer the ringtones I downloaded onto my E815 to my computer?

Can I view downloaded video files on the E815?

What kind of length can I expect with the transflash cards?

Many times I take the phone out of my pocket and the ringer was changed to soft or silent depending what it was set to. I hate that you can change the ring options with the outside buttons. Is there any way to turn them off?

If you use either the moto or verizon leather belt holster, can you feel or hear the vibration?

Verizon Tech Support has not been too much help on this issue, so I am hoping someone on the forum may have more experience, or similar issues. My voicemail is set up correctly with Verizon (goes to voicemail after about 6 rings), anyway:

I will get a call and pick up after 2-4 rings and my phone will say "connected" and even show the timer being used, yet I can say whatever I want to the supposed other person, but there is nothing but dead air. Soon, it will say "disconnected" or I will hang up, and if the person chose to leave one, I will have a new voicemail. I ask them if they heard me at all, and they said "no...it rang normall, then went to voicemail". This happens quite frequently on both this and my previous E815.

Just got the phone last night and spent hours trying to get it connect with mobile tools, etc. Finally found the drivers, etc. thanks to others on here.

Anyway, finally got the contacts to synch with my outlook (connecting via USB), but when it tries to synch the calendar, the green progress bar moves to the right, the message says 'processing' or some such, but once the bar hits the right end ... it stops and nothing else ever happens. Eventually (and I left it for an hour last night while doing something else), if I go to task manager, it says that tools aren't responding, so I have to terminate it.

Any suggestions?

So far, nice phone, but the PIM stuff really sucks. Why does it take SO long for the phone to even connect?

I'm being told by both Hello Motto and Verizon Tech that this phone can't be used as a Modem. They both told me to return it for the 710 because the E815 has no DUN, (Whatever that is) I'm not tech savy, however I live this phone. Is there anyway this can be done. They both also said there was no drivers to use the phone as a Modem. If you guys confirm this I will have no choice but to downgrade to the V710. PS: I don't care if I connect wireless using bluetooth or with a USB cable, Thanks Phil

I'm trying to go to HOFO to see what's new and stuff cuz i've been away...but the site doesnt seem to be working...and when it was working it was very very slow...anyone else experiencing this...im just gonna wait a while and see what happens, maybe their having trouble idk?..

I had the 815 for almost 2 weeks before trading for the 8100 for various reasons. I still get on this forum to read different things, make comments, give opinions, and also try to offer legitimate help to those asking questions that I can actually answer.

Anyway.....I'm am so sick and tired of seeing people on this forum continuously write back to me and others trying to give real help saying "get out of this forum", "I think your in the wrong forum", "dont' post unless you have the phone", and so on and so on.

recently in fact yesterday I tried to download a new ringtone and they will not play anybody else having this problem with mp3 thanks

OK. Now I have your attention. I posted this question twice before and no one answered, so I thought I would try a catchy title.
I love my E815, except for the echo problem.

My E815 causes an extreme echo to the person who calls me when I have it connected to my wife's truck using the Bluetooth portion of her Nokia CK-7W car kit (wired and Bluetooth kit). When she has her non-BT Nokia 3588i in the cradle, there is no echo on the caller's end or on our end. If we pop out her phone and hook up mine via BT, the caller gets a strong echo back of every word said. I hear a slight echo on my end of every few words, but not the whole conversation.

I went to a cellular repair shop and the tech told me that Bluetooth, when used with a CDMA syst...

I got my e815 in NYC a week or two after they came on the market. Everyone's been saying how good this battery is (like a week of standby time or something), but I am having two problems with it:

1. Frequently I'll charge the phone in the later afternoon and then by the late afternoon the following day (or worse, the middle of the night the following day), the phone starts beeping at me because the battey is dying.

2. I'll have three bars of batter life and within a half an hour or so, the phone will be beeping at me because the battery is running low.

I took my E815 back to the Verizon store where I got it and got the battery replaced and it didn't help. Then I had them replace the whole phone and that didn't help either.

I have this feature turned on but it doesn't work.
Took it back to Verizon tech and they replaced the phone. They had no way of checking it, so I have it and it still doesn't work. Checked with customer service 611 and there is nothing they can do, try another phone. Anyone else have this problem. SC verizon

Everyone keeps talking about unlocking features on the phone that make it better. Can someone let me know what they are, and how to get to them? Thanks

I am on my 5th E815 (for various reasons, but still love the phone nonetheless).

Sometimes when I turn on my Jabra BT250V while my E815 is turned on, it freezes the phone. The screen goes completely blank for a while but stays on. After hitting a few buttons and waiting a little bit, the phone comes back to life, but with the a white screen and the words "no service". This goes away after a few seconds and returns to full service like normal. This has happened with multiple BT headsets and E815's.

Anyone else ever experience this? Thanks. 😕

when i try to move my mp3 songs to my tf card it tells me that they are write protected. I have my songs on itunes, but i convert them to mp3. how can i get around this and put them on the transflash card?
